Introduction to Swan Spring: It turns out that there is no lake here in Swan Spring, but there are several springs under the steep slope, which flow continuously and form a stream. In the 1980s, villagers developed aquaculture on the banks of the Ili River and built many fish ponds. They then pushed out this water area near the spring to store spring water and use it to replenish the fish ponds. For more than ten years, dense aquatic plants have grown in the small lake, and the spring water has a relatively high temperature, which does not freeze even in the coldest season. These have created conditions for the giant-nosed swans to survive the winter.
