Introduction to the New Castle Ruins: It is located northeast of Jiayuguan City, about 40 kilometers away from the pass. The castle was built of rammed loess and has been severely damaged, making it impossible to see its original appearance. Now there are only 85 meters of remaining wall. The remaining height of the city wall is 5.9 meters in the south, 4.4 meters in the north, and the remaining thickness is 1.5 to 2 meters.
