Introduction to Mingsha Mountain: Located five kilometers south of Dunhuang City, it was also called Shajiao Mountain and Shensha Mountain in the Han Dynasty. The mountain is made of quicksand. The sand is divided into five colors: red, yellow, green, white and black. It stretches for more than 40 kilometers from east to west, north to south. It is about 20 kilometers wide, and the main peak is 1,715 meters above sea level. The sand ridges are connected to each other, winding and looping. The sand falls with your feet and returns to its original state after passing through. This kind of landscape is rare in the world.
