Now another aviation theme park has been completed in Chengdu. Not only can you see various fighter jets and drones, but there is also a newly opened aviation-themed post office for tourists to stamp their cards!

On October 28, the Chengdu Aviation Theme Education Base, which took 19 months to complete the construction of the park, officially held an opening ceremony. The park is open to the public free of charge.

The park was built by Aviation Industry Corporation of China and can be described as a garden-style fighter jet museum. It not only introduces aviation knowledge such as the development history of world aviation and Chinese aviation, the development and evolution of classic fighter jets, but also the unique fighter development process.

The park is divided into six areas: Weilong Plaza, Aviation Historical Sites, Iron Wing Fenghua, Longteng Plaza, Aviation Questions, and Aviation Interests. A total of 9 fighter jets such as J-5, J-7, Xiaolong, J-10, and J-20 series are displayed. A total of 3 UAVs including Wing Loong and SkyWing series were displayed, showing the development history of world aviation and Chinese aviation, fighter development process and manufacturing technology, etc., and opening aviation experience projects such as flight driving, air post office, and aviation cultural creation.

In the past, the childhood memories of many Chengdu Aircraft employees born in the 1980s and 1990s were hidden here. Now it will become one of the important aviation-themed education bases in China when we see you again.

The park is equipped with a three-degree-of-freedom fighter flight simulation experience cabin. It is a cost-effective flight simulator designed for the world's mainstream third- and fourth-generation fighter jets. It can simulate aerial refueling, aircraft carrier landing, beyond visual range combat, close combat, etc. Hundreds of modes.

A popular science-level flight simulator with a two-seater and three-screen configuration, it is an "artifact" for flight enthusiasts, aviation science education, and initial training of fixed-wing pilot students.

On October 28, to celebrate the establishment of Chengdu Aviation Themed Education Base and Chengdu Aviation Themed Post Office, the Chengdu Post Office launched an aviation-themed color machine stamp and a scenic date stamp.
