I’m very sorry that the later chapters of Journey to the Northwest have only been filled in until now. Although not many people will push for updates, I have to apologize for my own anticlimax. Many times things are put aside by oneself, and it is easy to completely forget them. So push yourself to be more disciplined and not procrastinate!

The last three days of the trip are quite spread out and I will spend more time in the car, so I just concentrated on writing one article.

DAY4 Colorful Danxia

Passing by Jiayuguan and Guazhou, we didn’t arrive in Zhangye until around four o’clock in the afternoon.

Very helpless, this day is cloudy again.

In fact, I feel quite depressed, because if it is a sunny day, the sunshine shining on the rocks of the Danxia landform will be the golden "pork belly" , which is very spectacular and beautiful.

But that day was like a haze, with light rain falling from time to time, and it was very cold!

Although the view was not quite what I had hoped for.

But on the way to the mountain, I met a immortal couple!

At first, we heard that they were fellow villagers, so they invited us to take photos of them 📷

After chatting along the way, I found out that my uncle and aunt are over sixty years old!

DAY6 Zhuoer Mountain

Zhuoershan is coming soon!

To be honest, I felt a little tired after climbing the desert, climbing Danxia, etc. when I saw the long mountain road in the past few days.

It is really only the beautiful scenery that supports us upward. After all, the higher we stand, the farther we can see and the more beautiful the scenery. (Don’t forget Sister Chen’s famous sayings here)

It still felt a bit hot at the foot of the mountain. When we reached the top of the mountain, it was too late. Secondly, the wind was very strong at the top, and the group was shivering from the cold.

I remembered that before setting off, my mother asked me to bring a thin down jacket but I refused. My mother said: "Don't call mom when it's cold." (Mom, I regret it!!!)

Fortunately, the weather is really nice!

After going down the mountain and returning to the hotel, two friends were so cold that they ordered takeout directly at the hotel.

As foodies, the four of us have already checked out the food guide - Qilian Old Street Barbecue, one of the filming locations of "A String of Life"! It was like taking a shot of chicken blood again, walking to the barbecue restaurant in the cold wind!

After dinner, we took a taxi back to the hotel. Didi is almost non-existent in this area, so we all rely on taxis.

What's special is that taxi fares are not based on meter, but are calculated on a per-person basis, which is 2 yuan per person.

DAY7 Menyuan

The car keeps moving forward, and the journey is approaching the end. It is already the last day of the journey.

Everyone was tired on this day and no longer had the time to put on makeup and pose for photos on the first day.

I also took a lot of very rustic photos in the Menyuan rapeseed field, hahaha.

As soon as we arrived at the scenic spot, there were many girls and aunts selling garlands. A little girl, about 5-6 years old, asked shyly: "Sister, do you want a garland?" I, who was originally unmoved by the garlands, was surprised by the little girl. Impressed by his innocence and cuteness!

After another journey on the winding mountain road and over the rolling mountains, we will soon arrive in Xining.

Because the altitude of this winding mountain road is very high, the master would wake us up, otherwise we would be prone to lack of oxygen when we fall asleep.
