It was a rare large-scale exercise that resulted in a 4-hour delay in the flight. I specifically booked a window seat to watch the sunset, but the evening flight became a red-eye flight. • Weizhou Island is very unfriendly to tourists. You have to walk a long way to get out of the waiting room at the pier. Every scenic spot on the island has roadblocks set up a few kilometers away, prohibiting the passage of our rented vehicles. To get to the scenic spot, you have to walk about 2 kilometers. • Weizhou Island, isolated offshore, actually has a Catholic church funded by French priests. All coral stones on the island are used for lotus picking. With its majestic style, it is the spiritual home for the people on the island to rest their souls.

The seaside is calm and calm early in the morning, and the sun shines on the sea, which is clear and transparent. We dived under the leadership of the instructor. The sea was very quiet. We could only hear the sound of our own breathing. Fish of various shapes and sizes were swimming leisurely in front of us, not caring about our arrival at all. The sunlight shines through the sea water, reflecting the colorful colors on the coral reefs, which is so beautiful and novel. In the early morning we walked along the path covered with bananas to the market in Nanwan. Because there is enough sunshine, the flowers and plants on the roadside are blooming. The simple Pozu Temple on the seaside also carries the good wishes of fishermen to go to sea safely, and the hard-working locals have begun their day's work. Most of the fruits in the market are transported to the island. The only seasonal fruit on the island is bananas. They are green on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside. They are delicious. Many aborigines on the island can open inns if the location is good. Construction work is underway to build inns on the streets of the island. But the lives of many aborigines who make a living by fishing are not easy either. Walking into the small courtyard of an ordinary fisherman in the depths, a fisherman was repairing his fishing net. After talking to him, he learned that all small fishing boats were now banned from the sea for three months. There was no income, and the town government did not provide subsidies. He looked sad. No wonder seafood is much more expensive than what is written in the guide, and you can’t go out on a fishing boat to watch fishermen fishing. The cruise ship at the pier has not arrived in the early morning, and there is no one on the promenade. The sea breeze blows by and feels refreshing. The bananas on the island are sold by the bunch, but I wonder why the bananas at the pier are cheaper than on the island. If there were fewer roadblocks in the scenic spots, and if you could enter the scenic spots on the island without renting a car twice, Weizhou Island would still be worth spending a few more days.
