The Yan'an Zaoyuan Revolutionary Site is a garden-style revolutionary memorial site. Zaoyuan plays an important role in red tourism and is therefore listed as one of the important bases for revolutionary traditional education in the country.

The old revolutionary site of Zaoyuan is located 8 kilometers northwest of Yan'an City. It was originally a landlord's manor. In 1943, it became the seat of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. During this period, more than 20 cave dwellings, more than 80 flat-tiled houses, and an auditorium were built. , and renamed the place "Yanyuan".
