How to get there:
Kunming: You can choose to arrive by plane, train or long-distance bus.
Bus route: Take the shuttle bus from Kunming Dongju Passenger Terminal and Nanjiao Passenger Terminal to Dongchuan District Passenger Terminal, transfer to the shuttle bus to "Fazhe", and get off at "Huagou"; Or charter a bus at Dongchuan Passenger Terminal, the price ranges from 100 to 250, so it is recommended to bargain more.
Self-driving route: Take Kunqu Expressway → Kunsong Expressway → Songming Expressway → Songdai Expressway, exit from Longtan Exit and enter Dongchuan District; at the fork, it is recommended to take the new road on the left, which is now the must-have road to Red Land. The directions are clear along the way. There are road signs after entering the highway, and the instructions are clear and clear.

travelling guideline:
1. Best photography time and landscape: May-June and September-December, you can take pictures of azaleas, colorful red soil and terraces, crop details, farmers farming and close-ups of people, sunrise and sunset, etc.
2. Main viewing spots: Huashitou, Jiaozi Snow Mountain, Damakan Village, Waliang House, and Shuipingzi Terraces.
3. It is recommended to visit for 3-5 days, get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise, stay in a farmhouse, and eat country food; there are also Luoping rapeseed flowers and Yuanyang terraced fields to visit.
