During a trip to Lijiang by chance, I met old friends, met many new friends, and even met Miss Cheese.

 

Maybe I didn’t go to any scenic spots regularly, but this was my own trip to Lijiang. It was not so exciting but as plain as water, just like the soup in the steamer, steaming but refreshing.

I came to Lijiang by chance. I have been looking for a place where I can volunteer. I happened to meet Sister Xiaoxiao in Harbin. She needed help in looking after the store she opened in Lijiang. She asked me if I had any ideas to help look after the store. Considering that school might start in May, but unable to bear the call from afar, I went anyway.

When I was transiting in Tianjin, I met my friend Lao Yang, had a meal together, walked around casually, and took a look at Tianjin. There are always some people who are not in constant contact but always miss me. I think Lao Yang and I have this kind of relationship.

It was early in the morning when I landed in Lijiang. My brother from the store drove out to pick me up. I met Brother Zhang, Lao Ge, and Brother Hun. Brother Zhang left within a few days. Brother Hun often went out alone to run lines. There were only two of them in the store. Resident population: Lao Ge and me.

The first thing I did when I woke up the next day was to get up and run to the roof of the third floor, looking at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain shrouded in clouds in the distance. Unfortunately, I didn't see anything. I bought the notebook I had been thinking about for a long time on a second-hand platform. I also bought a computer and a toaster that can make sandwiches.

When you first came here, you slept in a room, and then you moved to a glass room. Stars accompany you to sleep every day. In the morning, you sleep until the sun rises and sunbathe. When the weather is fine, you can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain when you look up. You can make a sandwich with soy milk or milk tea, and have a comfortable sleep. It started in the morning.

Free time is often wasted on meaningless things, reading books, listening to music, and playing games. Time always slips quietly through the fingers, just like the breeze blowing on the face, which can be felt but cannot be caught.

From time to time, I go shopping with Lao Ge and visit several vegetable markets in Lijiang. This kind of life gives people a smoky feeling, more like living. The daily trivial matters are firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea. Isn’t this just a Ordinary people's daily life?

The days in Lijiang are very irregular. In the first three days, I didn’t even enter the ancient city. Instead, I went to Baisha Ancient Town, which is far away from the ancient city of Lijiang, and met a girl I met on the Internet.

Baisha was really quiet during the epidemic. There were not many tourists on the streets. Most of them were locals living nearby. Baisha Ancient Town is very small and can be visited in a short time.

If you are just here to check in for travel, I am afraid Baisha will disappoint you, because this is a place suitable for relaxing and relaxing. I still remember the first time I was in Baisha, I spent an afternoon.

The shops on both sides of the ancient town are very interesting. You can see small handmade shops or shops with local tie-dye characteristics everywhere. You can also sneak into the yard to see various brightly colored handicrafts blown by the wind.

There is a coffee shop at the end of a road. I spent an afternoon there with a young lady and read a travelogue. It told the story of riding all the way west from Beijing to the Cape of Good Hope in Africa. There are always people in this world. Live the life you want.

Chatting with the girl who makes coffee, I learned that the author is a good friend of theirs, and he was successfully added to WeChat. It was really a fateful thing.

The tea shop opposite will play that kind of very charming music. Under the leadership of my brother in the store, I also went to Shuhe Ancient Town one day. In comparison, Shuhe is a larger area, and I can see more shops and stores, as well as more scenery.

The freshly baked flower cakes and Zhengxing chicken steaks I ate in Shuhe, looking at the gurgling water and the willow tree in front of the door, and occasionally seeing children scratching their heads and doing homework in groups, I still think it's cute even now when I think about it.

I still remember that when I went to Shuhe, there wasn’t a lot of people, and it gave people a very desolate feeling. The second floors of some stores were tightly closed, and the storefronts were already empty, and the wind chimes were blown by the wind. and the broken lanterns hanging overhead show the desolation.

It's not that there are no lively places. You can see many people around a river, and there are bustling tourists in the stores taking pictures. It will only feel noisy at this time.

The commercial atmosphere of Shuhe Ancient Town is quite strong, but there are also many things that attract me. The quiet Cat’s Sky City concept bookstore, and the singing of resident singers can be heard in the cold store. Lijiang is a good place to waste time. It’s really not that Just saying.

I accidentally broke into a quiet postcard shop. The soothing ballads coming from the dim lights made people want to slow down. There were many books lying quietly on the bookshelves, allowing people to pass them by. I looked through it, but unfortunately I didn't find a suitable postcard.

On the way, I also saw bright flowers, old houses in the corners and cute dogs. I wandered around aimlessly. On the way back, I also saw two large Alaskans.

After walking on the road, you can no longer clearly see what is inside Shuhe. The ancient city and outside are two worlds of their own.

I have been staying in Lijiang for almost a month. Even though it is very close, I have not had the slightest desire to step in for three days. Maybe I am afraid that my expectations are greater than my disappointment, and I am just too lazy.

Walk all the way in from the south gate, walk in other directions via Sifang Street, go to the water wheel, then change to another road and continue walking, wandering without a destination.

During the epidemic, the flow of people in the ancient city was still quite small. There were a little more people gathering on Sifang Street. I rarely saw people on the way there. Occasionally, there would be singers from bars sitting on the ground in front of the store to solicit business. Interested people. There are quite a few tourists sitting together, which is quite a feeling.

The ancient city of Dayan is also commercialized, but it also has its own flavor. Walking on the bluestone road, some alleys have pieces of oil-paper umbrellas hanging on top of their heads, and some streets have gurgling water and cyan water. The willow tree hangs its branches, and next to it are the antique Lijiang homes.

Once I wanted to buy some postcards for my friends and send them out. I wandered around Dayan Ancient Town for a long time but couldn't find them. When I was about to give up, I happened to see Sansheng Youxin on Sifang Street. This kind of mountains and rivers have no way out, and the flowers are dark and the flowers are bright. The feeling of Youyi Village is quite good.

You can also stroll around the ancient city at night, go all the way to the observation deck, take your favorite people with you, and watch the Dayan Ancient City filled with tourists and lights like daylight. Some people think that Lijiang is too commercialized. A thousand readers will have a thousand Hamlets, and a thousand people will have completely different feelings about the same place.

What is Lijiang to me? It is a place suitable for leisure and relaxation. You can see the blue sky and white clouds everywhere, the snow-capped mountains that can be seen when you look up, the starry sky that can be seen from the glass room on the roof, and the place where you can walk with friends.

The time in Lijiang was a very comfortable one. I got up and made breakfast by myself, occasionally chatted with friends from far away, and followed my brother in the store to eat all kinds of delicious food.

Vegetable markets and supermarkets have become the most popular places to visit. I took my friends to shop around at places selling fruits in the vegetable market. I felt very happy when I saved money. I bargained with the store for a dollar, and even successfully cracked the hawker. Want to deceive outsiders.
