About transportation

Flying from Beijing to Lijiang, off-peak air tickets are suitable. The recent policy is green code, which provides free nucleic acid testing at the airport upon arrival. It takes about 80 yuan to get to the ancient city by taxi. It still takes 24-hour nucleic acid test to enter Shangri-La by chartered car. It takes about 3 hours to drive through Tiger Leaping Gorge to Haba. The return direct flight ticket costs 2,400+, and there are very few flights. Kunming cannot be transferred, so Lijiang transfers to Zunyi and goes back to Beijing. There are no pop-ups and everything goes smoothly. (9.26–10.01)

About the route

Haba is an entry-level technical snow mountain. The peak climbing rate is high during the windy season from December to February, but this season the snow is good and the sky is blue. In order to adapt to the altitude and see the complete scenery, I took the big loop route. The order is: D1 Lijiang Old Town – Tiger Leaping Gorge – Haba Village – Fish Pond of Ba Ye’s Family – Lanhuaping Camp – D2 Black Sea – BC Base Camp – D3 Summit Rush – Horseback Riding Back to Ba Ye’s Wooden House Inn – D4 Have a Lazy Sleep – Back to Lijiang Nucleic Acid – Night tour of Lion Rock – D5 Airport – Transfer in Zunyi – Beijing

Day 4 The alarm rang at around 1am. In fact, I woke up more than an hour ago.

Turn off the lights and go back to sleep. After all, it’s not a good idea to go to the summit when it starts raining.
