Introduction to Jiuzhou Ancient Town: Jiuzhou was under the jurisdiction of the Zangdao Kingdom during the Spring and Autumn Period, the Yelang Kingdom during the Warring States Period, and was established as Anshun Prefecture during the Yuan Dynasty. During the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty, the state government moved to today's Anshun City, hence the name Jiuzhou. Until the end of the Qing Dynasty, it was still under the jurisdiction of the Anshun Military and Civilian Mansion. Throughout history, Jiuzhou has been the political, economic and cultural center of the country.
