It’s just that the signal is really not that good.

Arrive at Shenyang Station. There are domes in the center and two wings.

The walls are made of red bricks and the door frames and corners are made of white stone

The architectural style of the east station building is similar to Tokyo Station

Just outside the door is the subway station "Shenyang Station"

The B&B we booked is near the train station

day 2 Shenyang Forbidden City-Middle Street-Industrial Museum-Xingshun Night Market

Sleep until you wake up naturally and take a taxi to Shenyang Forbidden City

Shenyang Forbidden City is one of the only two remaining royal palace complexes

In its early days, it served as an imperial palace in the early Qing Dynasty.

It has gone through three construction periods: Nurhaci, Huangtaiji and Qianlong.

After the Qing Dynasty moved its capital to Beijing, the Forbidden City in Shenyang became the place where the emperors stayed during their eastern tours

The ticket to the Shenyang Forbidden City is 50 yuan, which is only 10 yuan cheaper than the Forbidden City in Beijing

But the area is smaller than that in Beijing by more than 600,000 square meters

According to the building layout and construction sequence

It can be divided into three roads: east, middle and west.

Heading north from the central axis, you pass through Chongzheng Hall, Phoenix Tower, and Qingning Palace.

It is mainly the place where the emperor handles government affairs and where the concubines live.

Going east are the Dazheng Palace and the Ten King Pavilions built during the Nurhaci period

Dazheng Hall is an octagonal hall used for holding grand ceremonies.

It was in this palace that Shunzhi ascended the throne.

The temple has not been restored and has been coated with a layer of gray by history.

But it is not difficult to see the majesty of the royal family

In the south pavilion, the Eight Banners of the Qing Dynasty were each assigned a pavilion to work

But some parts are currently under repair

Open display of Qing Dynasty weapons, cultural relics, etc.

Going west was built during the Qianlong period

There are theater stages, imperial gardens, Wensu Pavilion, etc.

Wensu Pavilion is a copy of Tianyi Pavilion in Ningbo

It mainly stores Sikuquanshu and other books.

The blue bricks and green tiles are very different from other palaces dominated by red and gold.

To the north of the Shenyang Forbidden City is next to Middle Street

Zhongjie is 1,500 meters long and has a history of nearly 400 years.

It is China’s first commercial pedestrian street

It is also the longest commercial pedestrian street in mainland China.

The Industrial Museum is located in Tiexi District

Tiexi District has a long industrial history

It has experienced different historical periods of Japanese colonial industry, Kuomintang industry and New China industry.

Tiexi once produced the first national emblem of New China

The museum looks quite industrial

The general history of industry is taught on the first floor. It takes an hour to study it in detail.

The Industrial History Museum is no different from an ordinary museum

But the Tiexi Pavilion at the back is very shocking.

day 3 Beiling Park-Qing Zhao Mausoleum-Zhang Clan's Mansion-Toutiao Hutong-Beijing

Sleep until you wake up naturally and go to Shenyang Station to store your luggage first.

Take the subway to Beiling Park

I found a Chaoshan porridge restaurant for lunch

Tickets for Beiling Park are 5 yuan

Similar to most tourist parks

The greening of the park is very good

The park is not my final destination

Mainly to visit the Qing Zhaoling Mausoleum - the tomb of Huang Taiji and the Queen

Qing Zhaoling requires an additional admission fee of 40

If you need to see the cultural relics on display, you need to pay another 20

Leaving Beiling Park and arriving at Zhang Clan’s Mansion

The Zhang Family Mansion is the official residence and private residence of Zhang Zuolin and Zhang Xueliang.

I have only read the story of the Xi'an Incident in history textbooks before

Tickets are not expensive. The full ticket price of RMB 56 also includes tickets to Zhao Yidi’s former residence and the Financial Museum.

The west courtyard is the red building complex

Zhang Xueliang had three wives in his life
