Ganden Monastery

Located on Wangbori Mountain at an altitude of 3,800 meters in Datse District, Lhasa City, Wangbori Mountain is like a lying giant elephant. The temple stands next to the mountain with overlapping buildings, which is majestic and majestic. It is the most special temple among the six major temples of the Yellow Sect. It was personally planned and built in 1409 by Master Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It can be said to be the ancestral temple of the Gelug Sect, and Drepung Monastery. , Sera Temple are collectively known as the "Three Major Temples" in Lhasa, and their status in Buddhism is equivalent to Tsinghua University in our mainland.

Samye Temple

Located in Samye Town, Zhanang County, Shannan Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region, the central Buddhist hall in the temple has Tibetan, Han, and Indian styles, so Samye Temple is also called the Three Styles Temple. It was built in the 8th century AD during the Tubo Dynasty. Trisong Detsen, who was then Zanpu, believed in Buddhism. He invited two Buddhist masters from India, Shantarakshita and Padmasambhava, to Tibet to promote Buddhism and decided to build it for them. A monastery, so Samye Monastery is the first formal monastery in Tibet with the Three Treasures of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, and has a lofty status in the Tibetan Buddhist world. In the mid-9th century, after Langdama exterminated Buddhism, Tubo banned the spread of Buddhism, and Samye Monastery was also banned. After it was reopened in the late 10th century, it became the central temple of the Nyingma Sect (Red Sect).

We relied on collecting rainwater and snow to boil water for cooking. Our teammates were so cold that they had high fever. Both teammates were It was so uncomfortable that I hung the tent light on the wire and listened to their heavy breathing. I was still worried about this situation.
