During the October holiday, I was invited by my senior sister to go to Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture.
This was also my first trip to have close contact with ethnic minority music culture.
Maybe it’s been pretty boring since I started school in September.
It’s so frustrating that I have no place to go
I can't stay in the dormitory like others and stay calm.
So I took the car driven by my brother-in-law and arrived to start my trip in October.
First time arriving in Mangshi
I was attracted by the coconut trees in this small town (forgive me, I only know coconut trees)
The temperature at this time is 30 degrees Celsius
For me, an invincible fat guy, this temperature is killing me.
But the border town feels extremely prosperous and bustling with traffic to me.
Here, if you accidentally go abroad in minutes, you can see the exotic scenery of Myanmar across the iron fence.
This is a paradise for foodies, with all kinds of snacks and fruits, you can eat here and there just to gain weight.
Before I left to go back to school, I saw a lot of things that I didn’t seem to see.
Sautéed vegetables, mixed vegetables, fried and roasted, dried vegetables, mixed vegetables, bamboo tube rice, spicy vegetables, Dai pickled vegetables, thin bean noodles, Jingpo pounded vegetables, ghost chicken, Pauluda, all kinds of Dai dishes...
Mangshi is also the Dehong ethnic customs tourist area. It is a tourist area in the border tourist area in western Yunnan that focuses on displaying the rich and colorful ethnic culture of Dehong. It organically combines the history, culture, art and customs of various ethnic groups in Dehong, making it People learn about the national history, culture and artistic characteristics of this place during entertainment and leisure
Influenced by Theravada Buddhism the Dai people living in Mangshi all have golden Buddhist buildings. Gold represents Yang and silver represents Yin. One gold and one silver complement each other and protect each other together. This quiet and peaceful land.

Although this Mangshi time is not long, maybe there will be another opportunity in the future.
Mangshi, a mysterious city, has both the original lushness and majesty of the southwestern frontier and the exotic customs of Southeast Asia. This diverse and tolerant city is beautiful, low-key and luxurious.
