February 27, 2022 is the fourth day of our small group tour in Dali Prefecture. In the morning, we visited the Erhai Haitang Wetland Park. After lunch, we went to Weishan Ancient City and stayed at the Huazhu Theme Hotel near the ancient city.Weishan Ancient City is the seventh attraction of our trip. After a 2-hour lunch break, we had tea in the hotel wine garden, and then visited the ancient city streets before and after dinner. 1. The distance and road conditions from Haiji Village to Weishan Ancient City
The whole journey from Haiji Wetland Park to Weishan Ancient City is a 62 Km national highway, a mountain road with good road conditions.

The streets in the ancient city are built in a standard tic-tac-toe structure with the arch tower as the center. There are 25 streets and 18 lanes in total, with a total length of 14 kilometers. The houses in the city basically maintain the Chinese structure, and the houses on both sides of the south and north main axes are intact. It preserves the architectural style and style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The house is oriented about 15 degrees from south to west, which combines the best local lighting methods to make up for the poor lighting of the "four-in-five patio".
The ancient city of Weishan has simple folk customs and profound cultural heritage. Coupled with the suitable climate and environment, the people of Weishan have a leisurely and calm life style.
