Today’s itinerary is from Maotai Town to Zunyi. We will stay next to the Zunyi Conference Site in the old city. It is very convenient to go to the Zunyi Conference Site and Red Army Mountain. It is only a few dozen meters away from the conference site and only one kilometer away from Jiangjun Mountain. It's really convenient, but parking in the old town is really inconvenient. In the afternoon, we visited the Zunyi Conference site and Jiangjun Mountain as we wished, and paid a visit to the Red Army Martyrs Monument. For dinner, we tasted Guizhou grilled fish and spicy crayfish at the internet-famous Laosha Lane night market. The Guizhou grilled fish was surprisingly delicious.

The Zunyi Conference is located on Hongqi Road, the old town of Honghuagang District, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. The old place is called Pipa Bridge. The venue was originally the private residence of Bai Huizhang, commander of the Second Division of the 25th Army of the Kuomintang. It was built in the early 1930s and is a two-story brick and wood structure that combines Chinese and Western styles. In January 1935, after the Long March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army arrived in Zunyi, the General Department of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission of the Chinese Soviet Republic was stationed in this building. The famous Zunyi Conference was held in the small living room upstairs of the main building. In the early 1960s, the Zunyi Conference Site was listed as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. In 2005, it was rated as a national AAAA tourist attraction.

Entering the gate of the cemetery and going up the stone steps, on the top platform of the cemetery, we can see a majestic and unique monument to the Red Army Martyrs. On the front of the monument are eight characters written by Comrade Deng Xiaoping: "The Red Army martyrs will live forever". The monument is 30 meters high, and on the top of the monument is a 5-meter-high sickle and hammer symbol. There is a circle outside the monument. The inner wall of the circle is decorated with four groups of white marble reliefs, including "Forcing the Wujiang River to Cross", "Zunyi People Welcome the Red Army", "The Great Victory at Loushanguan" and "Four Crossings of the Chishui River". The outer side of the circle is supported by four 5-meter-high Red Army heads, which are carved from purple granite. The southeast side is an image of an old Red Army soldier, the southwest side is an image of a young Red Army soldier, the northeast side is an image of a Red Guard, and the northwest side is an image of a female Red Army soldier, implying that the Red Army is powerful and fearless.

Laosha Lane, located in Honghuagang Community of Zunyi Old Town Subdistrict Office, is a focal point for tourists in Zunyi. It is not only a favorite place for tourists, but also a paradise for "foodies" in the city. In addition to the various delicacies here, Laosha Lane also has stories and legends. According to local residents, this was not a snack street in the past, but an ordinary lane with a ditch in the lane. "Laosha Lane" "The name is related to this ditch.
