Write in front:

After reading the previous article, a friend asked me why I didn’t write about my itinerary in Chengdu, because I spent two days in Chengdu after returning from Ganzi, so I thought it would be easier for everyone to write a separate article about my travels in Chengdu.

Of course, our trip to western Sichuan is not over yet. Next, we are coming to "Ding Zhen's World"!

Castle in the Sky

DAY4: Shangri-La Town—National Highway 227—Sela Grassland—Litang

During our trip to western Sichuan, the place we passed most frequently was Litang. Just like the poem by Tsangyang Gyatso, white crane, please lend me your wings. I won’t fly far away and will just come back after a short trip to Litang.

After climbing Aden, everyone had exhausted a lot of energy. They got up relatively late the next morning (after all, there were not many breakfast shops left next to them), had a quick meal, and then the four brothers started on their way to Litang.

Whether you enter from the East City Gate or the West City Gate, Litang will definitely make you linger. There are vast alpine meadows, plateau wetlands with rich water and grass, and Maoya prairie covered with flowers. This is "Ding Zhen's world".

It was already 14:00 when we arrived, so we were ready to eat first. Or Dianping searched for a restaurant with a relatively high rating - Legendary Litang Cultural Theme Restaurant . As mentioned before, the average altitude in Litang is over 4,000. This restaurant is on the third floor. I was already out of breath when I climbed up. (Remind everyone, don’t jump around even if it’s a flat road. Talking loudly can easily lead to hypoxia and high reflexes.)

I ordered hand-caught beef, potato buns, butter tea, and a mushroom bacon. It has to be said that Tibetan food is all hard food, and each person couldn't finish it after eating two pieces of beef. In Amao’s words, I actually didn’t eat much, but I felt very satisfied. So I ordered a small cabbage, but I didn't expect it to be cleared immediately. While eating, I made a phone call to make an appointment at a photo studio that rents Tibetan clothing. When I arrived, I could take pictures directly. Come here, you have to experience the beauty of Tibetan costumes.

This store is located in Qianhu Zangzhai, and its name is Nezha Photography. (The cost of renting clothing alone is 120. For shooting, the total including clothing is 320. All the negatives will be provided on the same day, and 9 photos will be edited and the film will be released in 7-10 days.) Ahua and I chose the clothes separately, and the entire makeup, hair, and shooting process were all done. I am quite satisfied. Ahua's photographer is very attentive. After adding WeChat, she will ask me what color tone I like, the extent of retouching required, etc. However, the guy who took the photo for me was not so meticulous and didn't ask anything. The speed of the post-production... Damn it, rely on yourself!

After taking photos, let’s go shopping! In fact, there is not too much strategy, and it completely follows the same route as Liu Haoran in "Just the Boy".

Qianhu Zangzhai - Renkang Ancient Street - Himalayan Black Yak Coffee - Cangyang Gyatso Mini Museum - Changqingchun Ker Temple - Dongshan Mountain - Cordyceps Hotel

Renkang Ancient Street is an ancient street located in Chema Village among Qianhu Zangzhai. There are catering, photography, cultural and creative industries, 7 miniature museums, B&Bs, etc. Himalayan Black Yak Coffee is on this street, and there is a coffee shop called Yunduan Yiye directly opposite. I checked in with Liu Haoran and his friends at Black Yak, and here I strongly recommend to everyone their carrot cake! ! It’s really delicious! ! I only bought one piece after two days there, which shows how popular it is! Black tea is also good, you can try it. The store has some cultural and creative coffee cups, coffee beans, jewelry, etc., which can be taken away as souvenirs. You may ask, can I drink coffee during high altitude sickness? For me personally, I don’t feel that drinking coffee has any impact. Maybe it’s because I’m used to drinking coffee every day. After the energy supply was completed, we went to the place where Ding Zhen worked - Cangyang Gyatso Miniature Museum . (Tickets are 20 yuan)

There are two floors in total. There is a screening room on the first floor where you can learn about Tsangyang Gyatso's life and past. Some Tibetan clothing and calligraphy are displayed next to it. There is a calligraphy area on the second floor, and the rest is a maze of Tsangyang Gyatso poems. These poems are really romantic, and they are also very suitable for checking in and taking pictures.

After coming out of the museum, we visited a few cultural and creative shops before heading to Dongshan Peak. It is located on the east mountain of Changqingchunkel Temple, and you can see it from a path up the mountain. The name Dongshan Mountain comes from Cangyang Gyatso's poem, "On the top of Dongshan Mountain, the white moon rises." This is the best place to view the panoramic view of Litang Qianhu Tibetan Village and Changqingchunker Temple. You will definitely get photos that will hit your circle of friends when you come here.

Next to it is the Changchun Ker Temple, where you can hear the voices of many devout Tibetans chanting sutras. Taking photos outside the temple is particularly atmospheric, and it is especially beautiful when the sun sets.

I met photographer Tashi on the mountain. He saw me wearing a red Tibetan dress and asked me if I could cooperate with him to take a few shots and save some footage. Of course I was very happy to meet a professional photographer~ Tashi was also very enthusiastic and told us that Nicholas Tse and Ding Zhen would meet tomorrow Next, I will record a program at Uncle Dingzhen’s house and return to Litang in the evening. If you are interested, you can go and have a look. Because the travel time did not allow it, I had to rush to Yajiang the next night, so I missed Ding Zhen perfectly.

These two pictures were taken with the help of Tashi~

Because I had to return my clothes before 20:30, and the temperature on the mountain was extremely low at night, I went down the mountain immediately after taking the photos. On the way down the mountain, I saw the beautiful sunset~ You can check it out in the video account. (I would also like to remind everyone that the temperature difference between day and night is large here, so be sure to wear sunscreen during the day, and remember to bring a thick jacket when going out at night when it is cold.)

Overnight stay at Cordyceps Hotel. The hotel has a Tibetan style, and there is a Cordyceps sculpture at the entrance. The boss is the president of the Litang Equestrian Association. Ding Zhen’s pony Qinglong was given by the boss. 666~ Because the altitude is relatively high, the hotel has a straw-type oxygen supply. utensils for guest use.

This is the hotel with the highest altitude along the way (4000m). Even if you lie flat on your back, it is still a bit uncomfortable due to high altitude. So among the four brothers, I was the first to use the oxygen supply. I breathed it for about 5 minutes and finally recovered. , but my head is still swollen. A-Zhu and A-Hua were a little hungry at night and were going to go out to look for food, while A-Mao and I were lying down in the room.

Meet the rainbow again

DAY5: Cordyceps Hotel - Maoya Prairie - Sister Lake - Wuliang River - Qianhu Zangzhai - Yajiang - Liuliu City

In the morning, I listened to the Spring Festival Overture in the hotel restaurant after breakfast, and I felt like I was feeling uneasy.

Exiting the east city gate and heading west, the highway goes up the winding Wuliang River Valley for more than 30 kilometers, and you will see a vast prairie, which is the Maoya Grassland.

In mid-September, the grassland was a little yellowish, and there were many colorful wildflowers (because I couldn’t name them) The huge green grassland was dotted with tents, and groups of cattle and sheep were walking leisurely and eating grass. It was simply... A visual treat.

Continuing to drive along G318, you will see a viewing platform on Haizi Mountain. This is the best place to see the Sisters Lake and take photos. You can enjoy the full view of the Sisters Lake. Many tourists stop here to take photos. The two lakes are reflected by the blue sky and sunshine, shining like two emeralds falling from the sky. They feel as good as the Milk Sea in Aden!

I met a group of cycling friends at the observation deck, and I really admired how they persevered. So I asked a little brother, and he said that there are a total of 47 days off this year. If you stay at work for a long time, you have to come out and torture yourself. It was a little overwhelming at first, but then I gradually met many cyclist friends on the road, and we all started walking together. "The guy buying fruit over there used to be a lawyer. He just quit his job and decided to go out to relax. I met him on the road."

The most indispensable thing on the road is people with stories.

On the way back from Maoya Grassland, we passed Wuliang River. So A-Zhu got out of the car to take aerial photos, and A-Hua went to squat on the grass to crouch for a prairie dog. Along the way you will find a lot of prairie dogs burrowing around! All very fat~

"The Temptation of Sausage"——BY Ahua

The story of Litang is coming to an end here. Before leaving, the four brothers decided to go back to Qianhu Zangzhai to visit, buy some gifts and so on, and take away a piece of carrot cake and brownie! Hahahahahaha.

After a two-hour drive, we arrived at our accommodation place tonight - Kangba Zangyi (Erdaoqiao Village, National Highway 318, Yajiang County). We were very lucky to see a rainbow~

Amao was on a Buddhist trip, but he quickly received signals for eating. He immediately discovered the Lao Ma Hoa flower opposite the B&B, and decided to have dinner happily!

On the last day of our trip to western Sichuan, we have plenty of time. There happened to be a stop on the way, and I just wanted to go to the restroom. Unexpectedly, everyone started spending so much that the trunk could hardly be closed. (Azhu and Ahua bought some beef or something, but Amao was different. She bought 5 packs of cheese sticks from Inner Mongolia. I can’t figure it out.)

As I said in the previous article, I will visit this Liuliu City again on my return trip. I just wanted to drink coffee, so I searched Dianping~ I didn’t expect Lucky! yyds! After drinking coffee and shopping around GAI, our trip to western Sichuan officially ended with "Kangding Love Song" .

Fish roe west, lotus sea, Genie's eye, see you next time.

Complete.

postscript:

All the way from Chengdu to Aden

Self-driving 1845.3km

Met so many interesting people along the way

Saw too many beautiful scenery

The most indispensable thing here is people with stories

It’s probably hard for you to think of Highway 318 across this window.

Feel the four seasons in one day

You can see devout Tibetans full of faith on the road

Yaks and sheep suddenly appear in the middle of the road from time to time

The snow-capped mountains in the distance pass through the sea of white clouds

It complements the vast green grassland at the foot of the mountain.

Cows and horses running happily in the wilderness

Enjoy the young grass and wild flowers here

We walked through the coolest eighteen bends on the sky road

Breathing oxygen all the way up the mountain, I repeatedly experienced the torture of high altitude sickness.

cheer each other up

Finally, we stood side by side by the Five-Colored Sea at an altitude of 4,700 meters.

The most beautiful thing about youth is that

If you have a friend with you, you can leave as soon as you say

Go see the scenery you want to see

If you can't find the answer

Just give yourself some time to see the world

Life is full of seas, mountains and rivers, but nothing more.
