Looking through my official account today, I found that my half-written travel diary had been lying quietly for a year. Yes, last year’s travel diary will be published this year. Hahaha~
The purpose of our trip to Hubei is to visit the Three Gorges, so take your time!
Before departure, we customized a small travel booklet for our children. We put in all the travel routes we planned one by one, and also left some small questions and areas for drawing.
Day 1
(Stay at Wanda Reign Hotel Wuhan)
Because the flight was canceled and we were diverted to Hunan Airport, our plans for the first day were disrupted!
This set of children’s lavender essential oil toiletries from the hotel has won my heart.
I also like the silky feel of these slippers.
I personally feel that the services and hardware of the Wanda Reign Hotel are highly recommended. After booking, I contacted you by phone to find out what items should be prepared in the room in advance. I also sent a message about the local weather conditions the day before arrival. Ruihua Hotel is opposite Chuhehan Street and can be reached within walking distance.
The original plan was to take an early flight, and upon arrival, we could go directly to the Museum of the Revolution of 1911 + view the Yellow Crane Tower at night, but due to the delay of the outbound flight + forced landing at the airport = it was too late. I adjusted the entire itinerary and did not go to the Hubei Museum that I was most looking forward to. It seems that I will come to Hubei again next time! Hahaha……
Day 2
(Stay at Yichang R&F Crowne Plaza)
Today’s travel itinerary:
1.【Yellow Crane Tower】
2. EMU【Arrival in Yichang】
You must visit the famous Yellow Crane Tower. You can see the panoramic view of the two Yangtze River Bridges from the Yellow Crane Tower. There are performances at the Yellow Crane Tower, which need to be reserved in advance. There are also night tickets, so you can see the Yellow Crane Tower. light show.
Finally, we caught the evening train and headed to Yichang.
Tip: We packed our luggage beforehand and left it with the concierge. When the time comes, call a taxi and ask the driver to take the luggage to the place where we arrive, so that we don’t need to carry the luggage during the trip.
Day 3
(Live on a cruise ship!)
Today’s travel itinerary:
1.【Yichang Museum】
2. Get on a cruise ship
The chimes that I didn’t see in the Hubei Museum, take a look here

Am I cute?
If you haven’t been to the Hubei Provincial Museum, you must visit the Yichang Museum! The Yichang Museum is newly built. The circulation and exhibits in the museum are not inferior to those of some large museums. The most important thing is that there are so many people during the summer vacation! The viewing comfort is extremely high!
The reason why I chose to stay at the R&F Crowne Plaza Hotel is that the boarding point is not far from the hotel. At the same time, the hotel is next to Wanda Plaza, which is more convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. You can also have a meal at Wanda before boarding the ship.
However, although the Crowne Plaza R&F is a five-star hotel, it is very old and has average service.
Introduction to Three Gorges Cruise
There are many choices for Yangtze River cruises, ranging from low to high prices, and the routes are all the same. It all depends on your choice of accommodation!
You need to carry your luggage from the pier to the ship.
There was originally a small train, but it broke down that day~
The Yangtze River is divided into upward and downward lines. The upward line is: Yichang to Chongqing (5 days and 4 nights), and the downward line is: Chongqing to Yichang (4 days and 3 nights).
The choice of cruise ship depends on your own needs. The travel routes for disembarking are all the same. The difference lies in the size and newness of the ship.
Both sides are family rooms
This is the family room, Kitty’s picture is from the official website~
It’s usually full during the summer!
our room
The better cruise ships seem to be the Meadville Hyatt and Century Glory, which are super five-star cruise ships. I chose Century Glory, and it matched us in terms of time.
At the same time, Century Glory has an exclusive family room (equipped with children's bed), which is unique. I didn't stay in the family suite. There were really a lot of people in the summer!
I stayed in an executive suite, on the highest floor, near the bow.
Separated from family room, must swipe card to enter
The handsome guy who makes up for the meal
The executive suites and family suites are both on the top floor, but maybe because they were afraid that their children would disturb the guests in the executive suites, a card door was used to separate them. Guests in the executive suites can also enjoy a variety of executive bar food. The food is about There are: fruits, water, coffee, drinks, biscuits, etc.
Visit the captain's cabin
Eat happily and watch the scenery
Those on the executive floor can visit the captain's cabin for free. At the same time, when passing through Qutang Gorge, you can watch it in the VIP lounge, eat, blow on the air conditioner, and listen to the explanation. There are not many people, and the treatment is really good.
Attached is an itinerary for a certain day for reference.
Let’s talk about how to buy ferry tickets! After reading various travel notes, I found that the premium range for ferry tickets was very large, so I followed the trend and bought the basic ticket from the column of 'Treading on Iron Shoes' ( Recommended with conscience, there is no cash rebate ), go to If you upgrade after the ship, it will be more than 2,000 cheaper in comparison during the summer. The upgrade includes an upgrade to the restaurant. Of course, you can choose not to upgrade, but upgrading the restaurant depends on your choice. Personally, I think the restaurants are actually pretty much the same. There is just a little difference between going back and forth every day, but there are plenty of choices.

Can I bring alcohol on board? ! Hahaha, yes. But don’t open it before going through the security check! You can take it with you if it is intact.
Let’s talk about the Yangtze River trip in the next issue!
