Qinghai, Gansu has always been a unique route in domestic travel. According to the usual experience, you still need to find the route of a travel agency and then experience it yourself. However, this time considering that it is in the northwest and is located on the plateau, the road is far away and sparsely populated. I was afraid that if something broke down on the road while driving, I would not be able to deal with it, so I finally decided to sign up for a group tour! Although we don't really like this approach.
In order to avoid the trouble of shopping in a group tour, we chose a group with a certain outstanding person, and it was clear that there was no group for shopping.
As for the time, there is no choice. It can only be done during the summer vacation in August , and the route is chosen to go in and out of Lanzhou.
The main content of the first day is on the road, because we have to fly to Lanzhou, and there is a travel agency to pick us up at the airport, so don’t pick the conditions of China and Pakistan! Stay at the hotel arranged by the travel agency as usual. In the evening, I followed the tour guide's suggestion and went out to find Lanzhou Ramen. There is a famous Majia Ramen, but I really didn't feel anything after eating it. Maybe I won't appreciate it!
Because we are in a plateau area, we have to take rhodiola rosea half a month in advance. I don’t know if it will really work. Anyway, it’s okay to have peace of mind.
The next day is the beginning of the real trip. I first find a route map so that I have a good idea.
It can be seen from the map that this loop line should be better entered and exited from Xining. I don’t understand why I chose Lanzhou to enter and exit. Anyway, it is just a longer drive.
Sure enough, we drove for almost a whole day after setting off from Lanzhou, and we didn’t arrive at our destination —— Qinghai Lake until the afternoon.
When the bus arrived at the lakeside, the blue sky and white clouds, and the ever-changing colors of Qinghai Lake were already in sight. The water and sky were the same color, and they met in the distance. It was like a dream. I started snapping pictures on the bus.
The thing in the distance immediately made people feel that they had entered a place of Tibetan culture. After checking it later, it seemed that the thing was called "Obo", and it should be the thing in "Aobao Encounter"!
The projects arranged by the travel agency are also quite beneficial. At least if we did it by ourselves, we would not choose the Qinghai Lake cycling project. This is the project of the travel agency. We went to the lakeside to pick up a mountain bike and rode for five kilometers along the road near the lake. The equipment was quite complete, including bicycle helmets. The horizontal handlebars on mountain bikes took a while for my wife to get used to, and the tour guide kept asking if she knew how to ride a bike!
After riding the car and returning it to someone else, we entered from the Erlangjian Scenic Area of Qinghai Lake. Most tourists follow this route. This scenic spot should also be the most mature part of Qinghai Lake.
The northwest is actually two or three time zones different from Beijing time, so if we calculate it according to Beijing time here, it will really dawn later and get darker later, and it will still be very bright at nine o'clock in the evening!

The landmark in the distance is a monument to torpedo experiments. At that time, our navy was underdeveloped, and experiments on maritime weapons had to be conducted in inland areas. This saltwater lake was just the right place.

Although it got dark late, the sunset still arrived at eight o'clock. Strangely enough, as soon as the sun set, before it got dark, the temperature dropped sharply, the wind picked up, and it felt very cold. This is also one of the characteristics of the Northwest. There is a huge temperature difference between morning and evening.
So as soon as it cooled down, we quickly left the scenic spot and checked into the hotel.
