sunny
Altitude: about 2000 meters
(No high-reflection here)
Seda – Guanyin Temple – Jinchuan – Jiaju
sunny! sunny!
On the way to Jiaju, the sky cleared up for the first time. The light and shadow of the grassland along the way, the yak lake, and the temples on the hillside in the distance became extremely beautiful under the blessing of the sun.
The dusty road covered our car with a thick layer of dust, and the driver, Xiao Yu, took this opportunity to show off his painting skills.
The winding mountain road we walked on was filled with fairy spirit under the lens of our teammate Muyu.
High reflex disappears~
We passed by the Guanyin Temple in search of lunch. The altitude here is more than 2,600. By this time, all the symptoms of high altitude sickness of the team members had disappeared. (So if you encounter severe altitude sickness, you can take descending measures. As the altitude drops, altitude sickness will naturally disappear.)
Nearby is the famous Jinchuan Pear Blossom Forest (the largest Sydney pear-producing area on the plateau) . I wonder what it will be like when the pear blossoms are in full bloom. (Now the green fruit is hanging!)

Jiaju = 100 households
Jiaju means hundreds of households in Tibetan. The driver of our car, Nanka, is from Jiaju and is also the owner of the inn where we will stay today. Along the way, we were told many stories about Jiaju.
According to him, there are now more than 300 families in Jiaju, and it is a pure Jiarong Tibetan settlement. They also told us that in the evening there would be dancing and singing by Danba beauties and a roasted whole lamb! (Applause is due here)
Jiaju Jiarong Tibetan Houses↓↓↓
Daijinchuan River – Beauty Valley
We walked along the Dajinchuan River (the upper reaches of the Dadu River) . On the way from Dajinchuan River to Danba Beauty Valley, the beauty of the scenery on both sides is very famous.
Next to Beauty Valley is today’s destination - Jiaju Tibetan Village. Nanka told us that it got its name because the beauties of Danba have won the crown for N consecutive times in the beauty pageant held every three years. As the saying goes, the beauties of Danba are the men of Kham!
cliff people
On the other side of the Zangzhai, there are continuous peaks facing it. Nanka pointed us to take a closer look. There are still a few scattered families living on the cliffs. I really don’t know how they travel.
It’s time to test your eyesight – can you clearly see the house on the cliff in the animated picture? ↓↓↓
Jiaju Zangzhai
Jiaju Zangzhai requires tickets, 50 per ticket. (Due to acquaintances in South Carolina, we only bought 8 tickets for the 4 cars. I guess we can contact the boss to get some ticket discounts if we stay there.)
Arriving at the No. 1 Observation Deck of Jiaju, you can finally slowly appreciate the unique Jiarong Tibetan Village. The vegetation here is very lush, and buildings with bright white and red as the main colors are scattered among the lush green vegetation. The unique shape is truly different from anywhere else.
Some people say that the entire building looks like a devout Buddhist sitting cross-legged and chanting sutras. It is indeed small in size and full of layers. Unfortunately, we arrived after 6 o'clock and missed the wonderful moment of sunset. (Waiting for the wind to tell us that the most beautiful moment for shooting sunset and sunrise only lasts 20 seconds. To capture it requires sufficient preparation, patient waiting and luck!)
let's go! Eat roasted lamb
alright! Go to the inn! Beauty and roasted lamb are waiting for us!
The inns in Jiaju are all decorated very exquisitely and beautifully. The Dengba Inn we stayed in is a typical Jiarong Tibetan village. It faces south and has flowers planted in front of the door. There is also a terrace on the top to overlook.
Colorful doors, windows, aisles, every detail is amazing. (Personally, I think the kitchen window looks particularly nice against the snow-white walls! Looking out from the passage between the houses, you can see distant mountain landscapes, giving you the feeling of seeing a scene with each step.)
For dinner, we sat around a long Tibetan table. The delicious meal, roasted whole lamb, and highland barley wine made us satisfied.
After dinner, the main event is here!
Guo Zhuang dances! Nanka's two daughters also danced Guozhuang with style at a young age.
The Golden Flower Performance made us feel that Danba beauties are not only beautiful (really beautiful even without makeup) but also dance gracefully and sing loudly.
That night everyone was in high spirits and didn't take a break.
Extra: Cats have thick lines!
Me, the cat.
Hundreds of years ago, the king appointed me as the Great Protector of Meow Star.
It's as quiet as a meow, and as moving as a meow.
I am actually also a Kung Fu Cat!
King: Please begin your performance!
In my life,
I have never encountered such a creature——
A... very special person.
(Friendly appearance by teammate Zhao Wumian)
Before meeting him, I was like this:
After meeting him...
I really can’t control how many times I remember!
(High energy ahead! Protect your eyes!)
A teammate who is a cross-dresser said that my current behavior is called "sucking cats", ahem... After all, the post-00s generation has so many new words!
Vision…Prayer
It was also on this day that everyone discovered that the clouds in the sky overlapped like tiles, and the moonlight was particularly bright at night, which made people who wanted to see the stars find it particularly strange.
Shockingly, the news soon broke about the Jiuzhaigou earthquake. Family and friends were worried and called to ask if it was safe.
We are more than 600 kilometers away from Jiuzhaigou Valley and no obvious earthquake was felt. After responding to inquiries from relatives and friends, I couldn’t help but pray for Jiuzhaigou Valley. (The picture below is from the Internet)
