Take a walk in the streets of Tokyo

The itinerary has come to the last two days. After all, Tokyo is too big and there are so many places I want to visit, so it is impossible to finish it in just 8 days, so there is no need to continue to check in and see the sights. It is better to return to the original place. For the purpose, walking around the streets and alleys is actually the best way to experience it...
Today, I will go to Daikanyama to have breakfast first, then go to Tsutaya Bookstore to have a look, and then make some plans...
Daikanyama

I planned to go to Tsutaya Bookstore in Daikanyama. It might be because it was a Sunday, so it was almost 10 o'clock in the morning. There were still very few people in Daikanyama area. The streets were very quiet. Occasionally, there were people passing by on bicycles and people walking with their children in strollers. Yes, there are one or two people sitting here and there in the coffee shop. Many stores have just opened and are preparing for business. The clerks have just come out of the store holding water signs, or are watering landscape plants in front of the store...
There are many design studios opened by independent designers in the Daikanyama area. The shops all have unique prices and a very good atmosphere...

I don’t know what’s so special about this place, but I’ve always wanted to come and see it…
Yes, I just wanted to read it, but in the end I bought the book for 15,000 yen...

After coming out of Tsutaya Bookstore, I wandered aimlessly in the direction of Nakameguro without looking at the map. The street was still very quiet...
There are many new-style fair-faced concrete simple houses and studio buildings, which are particularly beautiful...

Nakameguro

If I'm not mistaken, this is the Kiguro River. It's a good place to see cherry blossoms in spring... There are cherry blossom trees on both sides. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the scene is not ordinary. I think about it, I really need to make some plans. I try to visit Japan once a year during the cherry blossom season. If I go to Tokyo, the Meguro River is a must-see, right?

Shibuya

I wandered around leisurely until I arrived at Kiguro Station. It was already noon. I walked around the station and found that there was nothing I wanted to eat, so I decided to go to Shibuya from Nakameguro. In fact, I wandered around Omotesan-dori the previous afternoon. At that time, it was possible to walk to Shibuya, but I didn't walk there. So I decided to go to Shibuya the next day. After all, Shibuya is a very famous place...
By the way, I also stopped by Shibuya for lunch…

Is this considered a landmark of Shibuya?
Statue of the loyal dog Hachiko!

day lunch
I found a restaurant nearby that specializes in eel dishes. I actually don’t like eel very much, but the eel rice here is delicious.
I'm not saying that the same eel rice in China is not delicious, but in fact there is really a big difference.

Akihabara Pedestrian Paradise

Akihabara?
My first impression was of the Japanese drama "Tramboy" that I watched many years ago. It was also at that time that I got to know Akihabara. Anyway, this is the incarnation of the second dimension, a paradise for otakus, right? I was fully expecting to come here to buy a lot of small notebooks, but because I didn’t do my homework, I couldn’t find the small notebooks I wanted. As a result, I came back in vain and ended up with a lot of Gacha...
Did you see the sign that says "Pedestrian's Paradise is in progress"? During the day, this section of the road is closed to vehicles. It is a real paradise. No one cares about you even if you lie down there...

I really want to go see the AKB48 Theater
But it happened to be a day off, so there was no public announcement... Although I have no interest in and don't know much about AKB now, I am still curious and want to see it...

Watch the sunset at Roppongi Hills

In fact, Roppongi Hills is not my main itinerary, but unexpectedly this place has become the most worthwhile place in the entire trip. On the first night I came to Tokyo, I wanted to go to Roppongi Hills just to check in, but because of the heavy fog, I didn't go up until the afternoon of the last day, even though I heard about the sightseeing platform on the roof. You can see a panoramic view of Tokyo, but I never thought it would be such a good sightseeing spot.
It was only later that I learned that the sightseeing platform on the roof of Roppongi Hills is the best shooting location in Tokyo...
It was already 5:30 that afternoon when I arrived at Roppongi Hills from Akihabara. I got out of the elevator and kept walking through the rooftop passage. In the process, I became very excited. When I got to the platform, I felt indescribable. It was really touching. The weather that day was pretty good and the visibility was ideal. I found that choosing this sunset time was perfect! There is an open-air speaker on the rooftop, which is always playing melodious pure music. The scenery is really amazing! overtake! good! overtake! Gone! Bright! !
Please forgive me for my photos. They really cannot express the feeling at that time, nor can they express the experience of the scene...
Only you can stand on it yourself!

This uncle went up to the rooftop in the same elevator as us, there were only three of us...
The uncle came up alone. Later I saw him on the rooftop asking others to take photos for him. I also took photos for him twice.
Whether you say he was enjoying himself alone or not, he just stayed on the rooftop alone for a long time.

Good luck
I could vaguely see the shadow of Mount Fuji...
▼
In fact, I came back without seeing anything clearly in eight days, so to speak...
There are quite a lot of feelings. After all, I grew up watching Japanese anime and TV series and movies. The feeling of being both real and fake has always lingered in my heart. Until the moment the plane landed, I still felt a little unreal and couldn't understand it. What are the similarities or differences between the Japan in your impression and the Japan in front of you?
But in fact, I really can’t express more of my feelings. It’s a bit difficult to express.
Or the most sincere thought is: I will go again...
