Your Majesty, we can’t leave too early. No, it’s almost 10 o’clock before we leave Yalong Bay and start our day trip.
Our first destination is Nanshan Scenic Area.
Yes, it is the Nanshan deity who is "as blessed as the East China Sea and as long-lived as Nanshan Mountain".
Du Niang said that Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone is located 40 kilometers southwest of Sanya City. It is the southernmost mountain in my country and has a tropical marine monsoon climate. Its air quality and seawater quality rank first in the country, and its forest coverage rate is 97%. It is a display A large park of traditional Chinese Buddhist culture. Nanshan Cultural Tourism Area is a national 5A tourist attraction.
The main attractions in Nanshan include Nanshan Temple, Guanyin on the Sea, Fujian Dharma Gate, Guanyin Cultural Garden, Tianzhu Holy Relics, Buddhist Scenic Spots, Shifang Pagoda Forest and Guigen Garden, Buddhist Cultural Exchange Center, Suzhai Shopping Street, etc. Among them, the 108-meter-meter Guanyin on the Sea is a well-deserved highlight. It is the world’s first gold and jade statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva and is a treasure that is famous throughout Hainan.
The Nanshan Golden Jade Guanyin is composed of four parts: the golden body of Guanyin, the Buddha's light, the thousand-leaf lotus, and the red sandalwood carved Xumi base. It consumes more than 100 kilograms of gold, more than 120 carats of South African diamonds, thousands of rubies, emeralds, corals, turquoise, pearls and More than 100 kilograms of jadeite and other rare treasures are made using traditional Chinese "palace goldwork" craftsmanship. The golden body of Guanyin is made of more than 200 gold pieces with an average thickness of 1.2 mm, which are hammered into shape by hand and then welded. Due to the use of different processing methods, the gold statues have different colors and textures.
Many people come to Sanya just to eat, drink and relax on the beach, but in fact, this is the attraction that is truly worth seeing.
We walked out of the Yalong Bay Scenic Area along the tree-lined Yalong Bay Road, and then entered the city.
Although it is Thursday, the rush hour for work has already passed, but I didn’t expect that there is still a lot of traffic in the city, with stop-and-go traffic and it is quite congested.
After walking for more than an hour, we arrived at Sanya Bay.
Unlike Haitang Bay and Yalong Bay, Sanya Bay is very close to the city and the beach is completely open to the public. Therefore, the coast here is full of people.
I guess most tourists go to Haitang Bay and Yalong Bay, and those who come to Sanya Bay are probably locals.
Going west along Sanya Bay, it is still quite congested and driving efficiency is not high. At 11:50, we finally arrived at Nanshan Scenic Area.
There are not many people in the scenic area, and the traffic flow is orderly. We parked the car and bought tickets to enter.
As Du Niang said, there are many scenic spots in Nanshan Scenic Area. Tourists can buy a battery ticket and then take a leisurely ride to see them one by one. Since we had to rush to the East, we only planned to see the Guanyin Statue in the South China Sea and then return.
The Nanhai Guanyin Statue and the gate of the scenic spot are almost in a straight line, and the distance is not far, so it is good to walk there (but because we did not do our homework well, we still bought the battery ticket, and then sat for more than 100 meters to the station).
We walked along the avenue and slowly approached the holy elephant. The closer we got, the more solemn and solemn we felt. But in fact, the statue of Guanyin has a well-proportioned figure, a very kind face, and a very oriental beauty. Looking at Guanyin's face, you will feel gentle and kind again.
We arrived at the foot of Guanyin. There were already many tourists and believers standing on his Sumeru base. At the same time, many people were queuing up to get on.
We didn't have time to queue up, so we walked respectfully around the stone platform at the feet of the Bodhisattva, and then returned the same way.
After eating something and chatting for lunch at the snack bar in the scenic area, we left the scenic area and drove to Dongfang City.
There are not many cars entering Nanshan Scenic Area and it is quite orderly.
There is already a New Year atmosphere in the scenic area. Don’t tell me, the coconut tree and the lantern are quite pretty.
The inner gate of the scenic spot is the only one to get in, and the same thing to go out
Kapok in the scenic area. Panzhihua City in Sichuan Province is named after this flower, and Panzhihua is its other name.
Within the scenic area
From far to near, pay homage to the sacred image
The beach here is also pretty good, but you are not allowed to go down there.
Looking west at the foot of the sacred elephant, this should be Nanshan Temple

A lot of planes pass by here, let me take a picture of it

In fact, our destination tonight is not Dongfang City, which is famous for Dongfang Invincible, but Shuanggou Bay, a bay about 50 kilometers south of Dongfang City.
Coming out of the scenic area, we got on National Highway 225.
Among the many long-distance national highways in our country, this national highway is definitely a mini-class. It starts from Haikou and runs along the west coast of Hainan Island to Sanya, with a total length of only 429 kilometers.
Although the national highway runs along the west coast, it is still far from the seaside and is not an ideal route for me to patrol the sea. Therefore, I still have to find a route to get as close to the seaside as possible.
When planning, I looked for the small lines near the seaside on the satellite map in advance and tried to connect them. But just like the situation encountered on the coast of Beibu Gulf in Guangxi, there are many large and small rivers here, and it is difficult for roads to stick closely to the coast. In this case, I had to take a lot of detours.
It's still early now, so just follow my route first. If you don't have enough time, it's not too late to take the national highway or highway.
After walking along the national highway for an hour, we finally came to the intersection. At this time, I was as happy as seeing the beautiful scenery, and of course I drove on without hesitation.
The path turned left and right in the small space of the village, and soon came to the dense forest on the coast. Of course, the road has also changed from cement road to sand road.
This is very similar to the path we took from Haikou to Wanning. The difference is that there is not so much garbage here.
Leo, the bad road king, was very happy when he saw the jungle sand road coming.
So, we drove forward with laughter, bumping left and right, facing the branches of the trees and the sunlight shining from the gaps in the forest.
After walking for about 10 minutes, Leo and I were having fun when the king suddenly spoke. Your Majesty said that when your car is raised, the suspension is too stiff and makes people feel dizzy. Hurry up and get back to the road!
Oops, not good! How could I forget the king!
After hearing the king's order, we were immediately discouraged. I knew that this section of the road was not too far, so I comforted the king and said that we would soon be back on the national highway. I should drive slower and persist. After returning to Shanghai, I would immediately turn right away and soften the suspension.
I slowed down and carefully continued walking through the dense forest along the sandy road. Fortunately, the king was very considerate and did not say anything further.
But still, within five minutes of walking, the road suddenly stopped - a huge sand pit cut off the narrow sand road.
It seems that the sea water has swept away all the sand here. Since it is an insignificant path, no one is maintaining it.
Isn't it God's will? !
Well, since God and the King don't like this sandy road, let's just go back to the national road.
From getting off the national highway at 2:59 pm to returning to the national highway at 3:22 pm, it only took 23 minutes.
After walking along the national highway for a short while, we came to Huangliu Town, Ledong County. Here, we encountered a traffic jam.
Haha, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
I told the king that we can take a small path to get around, and there should be no dirt roads here. When I said "probably not", it was actually against my will, but I had to convince the king to give it a try.
The king was noncommittal.
I think compared to the traffic jam, bad roads are still acceptable.
So, I immediately left the traffic and turned left into an alley.
At this moment, I am looking forward to the same treatment as when I first left the national highway - a warm welcome from the dense forest and sandy road.
It's a pity that this time I couldn't do it. I don't know whether it's because the economy here is more developed or for some other reason. Although the road is very narrow, it has always been a complete cement road.
Hey, isn’t it God’s will? !
At 4:12, we returned to the national highway again. I know that there will definitely be nothing to do from now on, so I can only concentrate on my journey without thinking.
Under the guidance of this idea, we walked along the national highway and soon arrived at the Oriental Jiayuan Oriental Sochi Hotel located on the edge of Shuanggou Bay and on the Nangang River.
Video: From Nanshan Sea Guanyin Scenic Area, we walked along the small road to Dongfang City. We never expected to encounter a bad road, but Leo and I were very happy. Unfortunately, the king was not happy. She felt dizzy under the cushion and urged me to hurry up. Give up the bad road
Video: Continuing forward, we arrived at the hotel located at Nangang Harbor in Dongfang City at 4:40 pm

It was only 5pm when we checked in. At this moment, the sun was shining brightly and it was time to go to the beach to play.
I suggested going to the beach to have a look, but King Sherry said he was dizzy and needed to rest. Oh my god, it seems like it’s not just an act. Okay, then you should have a good rest.
Isa was too lazy to go out, so I had no choice but to take Leo, the sand digger, out of the back door of the hotel and onto the beach.
Although the beach here is not as blue as Yalong Bay and the sand is not as white and fine as Yalong Bay, fortunately there are very few people here and there is no disturbing noise, so it feels very comfortable.
Leo took his shovel and quickly got into the intense work of digging holes, while I took the camera and took pictures here and there.
After playing here for half an hour, the sun hid in a small cloud in the west, the sea breeze gradually became stronger, and the body gradually became colder.
The cloud hung over the distant sea, but kept some distance from the sea. If I guessed correctly, it won't take long before the sun will fall from the clouds and then slowly fall into the sea.
Well, this would be a scene well worth filming.
I quickly asked Leo, who was very reluctant, to go back to the hotel so that I could watch all this from the balcony of the room.
It was too early to arrive at the hotel. Standing on the balcony of the room, you can overlook the hotel's backyard and the sea not far away.
Cups planted in the hotel yard
Straight coconut trees look like guards
The sand digger is very fast
There are fishermen building nets on the beach
Sand diggers working hard
There are many windmill trees in the northern part of the bay
The dead tree roots on the beach are very beautiful. I really want to carry them home.
It's a pity that no one fucks
No one fucks me
The sun gradually sinks into the clouds
Sand digging is getting better and I don’t want to go back.
The clouds cover the sun, the wind gets stronger, and the seaside suddenly gets colder. Go back quickly.

When I returned to the room, the sun had not yet come out, so I hurried to the balcony, set up my phone to take a time-lapse shot, and then raised the camera to wait for what was about to happen.
After a while, the sun slowly poked its head out from the clouds, casting a beautiful red beam of light on the sea. After that, his face became bigger and bigger, until he fell out of the clouds, and his brilliance once again illuminated the whole world.
The sunset was infinitely beautiful, but it was almost dusk. Although it was shining brightly at the moment, he still did not stop falling. Soon, he would sink to the bottom of the sea, and darkness would strike again.
It seemed that he also needed a break from get off work.
At 6:32:28 in the afternoon, he rested his chin on the sea, took one last look at all the living beings who were being pampered by him, smiled with satisfaction, and slowly sank to the bottom of the sea.
At 6:34:56, the sun completely disappeared, leaving only some red sunset glow, like the lingering sound of farewell.
His departure from get off work also marks the end of our day. Okay, let us end this satisfying day and go foraging!
