Before the Spring Festival of 2020, I started to stay away from home. I sorted out various historical photos at home and all kinds of cloud travel in my mind, so I came up with this collection of self-driving tours in Xinjiang.

In the summer of 2011, I drove 20,000 miles along the Silk Road, making a small circle inside and outside Xinjiang. Xinjiang is very far away, Xinjiang is too big, and the Northwest is indeed vast.

Along the way, I took stock of some impressive moments: The most beautiful sunrise: Qinghai Lake sunrise The most confusing experience: riding a horse in Kanas for 6 hours, going up and down the fish pavilion, no matter how tight the package was, it was still blocked. SunburnThe commanding point overlooking Kanas Lake: Guanyu PavilionSheepskin raft in Shapotou, Zhongwei, NingxiaThe most thrilling experience: rafting on the Yellow River in a sheepskin raftDunhuang, looking at the moon on Mingsha Mountain YaquanZhongwei Shapotou-Camel Team RidingDunhuang Mingsha Mountain Sandboarding, all relying on porters to walk up the mountain Happy sandboarding at nightfallThe most memorable game : Sandboarding in Shapotou, Ningxia The most unforgettable dinner: the whole sheep feast for 100 people in Nanati Grassland The beautiful scenery of Nanati Grassland Nanati Grassland and snow-capped mountains

The most technologically exciting place to visit: Jiuquan Satellite Launch Site, four hours of waiting and a quarter of an hour to visit. I also learned that the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Base is already on the border of Inner Mongolia.
The most beautiful small town: Dusk in BurqinHemu Village in BurqinThe most beautiful small village: HemuThe most beautiful lake: the last tear of the Atlantic Ocean, Sailimu LakeThe most beautiful Gobi Desert:The colorful beach on the north bank of the Irtysh River

The least valuable fruit: The overwhelming number of grapes in Grape Valley The most crowded attraction: Turpan Grape Valley

The melon with the most sugar: Guazhou melon. If it cannot be sold on the same day, it can only be dried in the sun, otherwise it will rotOne of the four major grottoes: Maijishan GrottoesOne of the four major grottoes: Dunhuang Thousand Buddhas Cave One of the four major grottoes: Luoyang Longmen Grottoes-Lushena Buddha

The most cultural scenery: the three major grottoes, the Maijishan Grottoes in Tianshui, Gansu, the Dunhuang Grottoes in Gansu, and the Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang, Henan. Silk products go all the way to the west, and Buddhist culture goes all the way to the east. The construction of the Buddhist caves took hundreds of artists. The years have passed one after another. The Maijishan Grottoes are severely weathered and the lights cannot be turned on in the Thousand Buddha Caves in Dunhuang. After listening to the commentator's explanation, I went back to Henan to visit the Luoyang Longmen Grottoes with the Lucena Buddha, which is close to the people. I was in awe of the cultural heritage left by the ancients.
