How many autumns are left in this life to travel? I counted on my fingers and couldn't calm down immediately. There are infinite autumns, but individual life is limited.

A friend left a message to me, Anny, you really love autumn. ah? Yeah? In fact, I haven’t been chasing autumn colors for a long time. After seeing the beauty of Japan’s red leaves in Kyoto, Japan, in November 2016, I was restless and had to travel as soon as autumn came. My love for autumn colors gradually reached the point where I couldn’t extricate myself.

After the virus stopped us from seeing the world, one year and ten months passed in a flash. My heart was already at rest. I was indifferent to not being able to travel abroad, but I couldn't resist missing Japan's autumn. I missed the red maples in Kyoto, the beech trees in Aomori, and the hot springs in the autumn forest...

This year we have planned an autumn tour in southeastern Tibet, but the epidemic has started again. Whether we can set off next week depends on our luck. I write this article today, using memories to comfort my disappointed and lost heart. At the same time, it is also a preface to the travel guide for enjoying autumn in Northeast Japan.

From October 21st to 31st, 2019, I took my mother to enjoy the autumn in Northeast Japan, from Aomori, Iwate to Miyagi.

Chasing the stunningly beautiful autumn colors of the mountains and fields

——In Aomori Prefecture

Compared with Hokkaido, which is just across the strait, Aomori is relatively unknown. Why did I choose it? The number one red leaf attraction voted by Japanese, the number one hot spring in Japan, the number one snow zone in the world, the most beautiful lake in Japan, the best mountain in Japan, the best cherry blossom viewing spot in Japan... Aomori, use treasures The most appropriate way to describe it is the earth, especially in autumn. It is even "poisonous" and will make you addicted to chasing autumn colors.

From Morioka to Hiraizumi, there are world cultural heritages hidden in Japan’s countryside.

Motsuji Temple and Chusonji Temple

The temple, a national treasure of Japan, stands out against the red maple trees, and the scenery is beautiful but there are few people.

Naruko Gorge

Watching the train emerge from the cave covered with red leaves is full of fun.

Stay in a hot spring hotel that is far away from the hustle and bustle and embrace nature. Heal your body and mind with hot springs and delicious food.

Let me tell you quietly, the best hot springs in Japan are in Tohoku.

Tsuta Hot Spring Hotel, an ancient and elegant hot spring hotel.

Hoshino Oirase Keirui Hotel is beautiful, expensive and worth it.

First visit to Tokyo

First time coming to Tokyo and staying for two days. Tokyo Tower, Zojoji Temple, Nezu Shrine, Masuen “Hundred Stages” flower art exhibition, Teamlab digital art exhibition, Tsutaya Bookstore, flipper’s dessert shop, AfuriYuzu Ramen House. Tokyo left a good impression on me, and I will continue to explore it next time.

Traveling to Northeast Japan, which has inconvenient transportation, requires a certain amount of planning skills. The travel notes and strategies I will write will tell you: the date of red leaves in Northeast Japan, red leaf attractions, how to solve transportation difficulties, how to solve difficulty in planning itinerary, and the red leaf season is extremely difficult How to get a reserved hot spring hotel. Maybe, after I finish writing my travel notes and guide, the country will open up, and you will be able to use my series of guides for autumn appreciation in Northeast Japan.

Hope that the epidemic will pass soon. When the country opens again, I think I will definitely travel abroad with revenge! !
