Friends who have watched Grandma's "Murder on the Orient Express" will probably be very interested in this kind of high-end customized long-distance travel train. The "Ultra North Train" of Harbin Bureau uses this kind of travel train. The concept of special trains takes the idea of "traveling by train" to the extreme.
The Far North train runs twice a year in summer and winter. This summer, it departs every Saturday in July and August. It returns on Thursday. We caught the last train from 8.24 to 8.29. The price is slightly cheaper, and it is a four-person box. Upper bunk costs 3100, lower bunk costs 2800, and children costs 800. In fact, it would also be a good idea to attend Mohe’s grandest Aurora Festival during the summer solstice, or to visit Santa Claus in the winter to experience the extreme cold.
At ten o'clock in the evening on August 24, the train departed from Harbin North Station. There were a total of 120 people in the group. The group leader gave out a special little sign.
Even though it’s a green car, there’s something going on inside.
All soft sleepers are available, including four-person boxes and two-person boxes (with private bathroom). The wooden interior style looks very comfortable.
The soft sleeper box contains disposable slippers, toothbrushes, bottled water, coffee, milk slices and cheese.
Each carriage is equipped with a hall, an electric mahjong machine, a KTV, and a leather sofa, which are all necessary for leisure and vacation. It is so novel for a little kid to get up every morning and run to play mahjong without combing his hair.
The only thing I need to complain about is the bathroom, which only has a toilet. Although it is equipped with a disposable toilet seat, it is... really a bit weak to accept.
After a comfortable night's sleep, we arrived at Hailar early in the morning. The tour guide presented us with a blue hada at the station. After breakfast, we took a bus to the Hulunbuir Prairie.
First we went to a tribe in Chenbalhu Banner, where we had horse wine, sacrifices to Aobao, small Naadam (horse racing + wrestling), Mongolian wedding, and the meat on the hands at noon was really a strong training for the masseter muscles.
I thought this was just a regular grassland tribal scenic spot, but I didn’t expect to encounter the most beautiful scenery of the Hulunbuir Grassland here.
After lunch, we walked down the plank road to the lake. We were so shocked by the scenery in front of us that we were speechless.
The small water lilies are blooming quietly, and there are small fish and frogs in the water. The windless lake in the afternoon presents a perfect mirror of the sky. The skylight, clouds and shadows are both illusory and real, making people wonder where they are. Walking towards the lake is like walking Enter a quiet picture realm.
The child was sitting by the lake and looking at the scenery. I took a photo and showed it to her. She said, "Hey, this looks like a painting." The beauty of heaven and earth cannot be overemphasized. This is nature’s most abundant gift.
When leaving, I specifically checked the location on the map - Huhnuoer Lake, a little-known and non-famous grassland lake, which stayed deeply in our minds.
In the afternoon, I participated in a self-funded visit to the homes of herdsmen. I have never been interested in such activities, but the children could not resist the temptation of feeding lambs and wearing Mongolian robes...but the yogurt brewed by the herdsmen was still delicious.
Next is the Mammoth Park in Zhalainuoer. This is just for appearance, because the introduction to the scenic spot says it covers an area of 10,000 square meters! Feel what it means to be willful in the earth. The Russian-style castle is still very beautiful
We arrived at Manzhouli, a city on the border between China and Russia, at five o'clock. Here comes the highlight. Checking into the Matryoshka Doll Hotel is simply a paradise for children. The room is full of matryoshka doll elements.
The most impressive main building is a huge matryoshka doll, and the interior furnishings of the hotel are all in a bling-bling palace style, just like a European castle, which is eye-opening.
We live in Building 3 on the far left, which is Sanwa
This is the most expensive hotel in Manzhouli, feel free to find out the price...
There was no meal in the evening. All the old aunties in the group went to attend dinner and special performances at their own expense. We took a taxi and went to "Lubli Western Restaurant" to eat special Russian food.
Beetroot soup, pickled cucumbers, cheese buns, sausages, and potato slices, none of them are amazing, the taste is simply amazing, and the beautiful Russian lady will come to help divide the meals.
Russian-style kebabs are as long as an adult's arm, so be careful if you are young. After the meal, I was lucky enough to catch a performance in the restaurant. The handsome Russian guy and beautiful girl were really enjoyable to watch.
After dinner, we took a taxi to see the famous night view of Manzhouli. There are several viewing spots at the riverside, schools, churches, matryoshka hotels, and the national gate. It is worth 100 yuan for a trip. The driver will tell you the best shooting angles. , but it rained at night, so we mostly just admired it and didn’t take pictures.
The night view is indeed well-deserved, and it has a uniform warm yellow tone. It is not like the colorful neon eyes in some places. It may be called "Oriental Moscow" or "Oriental Little Paris", but I think Manchuria still has its own uniqueness. The oriental style and magnanimity.
