Prague
It seems that the older you get, the faster time flies.
This is how the first semester of graduate school ends. It seems like yesterday it was welcome week, and in the blink of an eye, it’s the end of the semester. Of course, by now, school is about to start in just a few days.
Perhaps it is because the compact nature of the courses and the heavy workload leave no time to breathe, and make people ignore the passage of time.
I know myself too well and will not sit down and do my homework at the beginning of the holiday. So after the last seminar on Friday, I dragged my suitcases and set off with my friends. Since it was an early morning flight, I had to stay one night next to the airport.
Before setting off, Jolin's "Prague Square" kept echoing in my mind. What would it be like to see it with your own eyes?
When we first arrived in Prague, we were greeted by a rainy day.
The airport is far from the city center,
There is a familiar country atmosphere-especially like the smell of hometown.
Finally, we came to the Old Town Square.
That is the legendary Prague Square.
There is no wishing fountain.
There are indeed a lot of white pigeons, and they have left a psychological shadow on me😊
European architecture is quite similar. If there is any difference between the buildings here and those in the UK, it would probably be that the colors are more lively. There is no research on architecture, it’s all based on subjective preference.
Trams🚃are really the characteristics of these Eastern European countries
A city with trams gives people a slow pace of life, with a bit of a retro tone.
Looking at the castle on the hill ahead.
Most of the buildings are light pink, light yellow, and light green.
Light and cheerful.
View of Prague from the castle.
st vitus cathedral
It has the reputation of "architectural treasure"
Puppetry is a local specialty
The tone is not small
"Walking Charles Bridge nine times."
It is said that doing this will bring good luck.
We were forced to walk back and forth several times that day...
golden dusk
Long time no see. My favorite singer in junior high school.
The gingerbread men are so cute!
Elbow & Chimney Roll Ice Cream
local characteristics
People upstairs are playing
People downstairs are stopping to listen.
It's getting late
How long does sunset take?
Probably only enough for us to walk half of the Charles Bridge
Back to the Old Town Square
It's Christmas season
There are Christmas markets everywhere
European Christmas markets are always indispensable for mulled wine
astronomical clock
On the hour, the disciples will appear one after another
I feel like I’ve seen relevant documentaries before, but I just can’t remember them.
Climb the astronomical clock to overlook the square
powder tower
This is also the filming location for Jay Chou's music video for "Love Lost".
The black powder tower is the background of this scene.
Attached is the photo of Charles Bridge
Sure enough, the closer the place is to the fighting nation
Folk customs become stronger and stronger
For example, feeding pigeons is like this 👆 (Throwing it into the air depends on the pigeon’s ability
"The river is as quiet as an oil painting."
There are so many tourists
It's interesting to find their pillars
dancing house
amazing building
A building criticized by locals
We drank beer together in the evening
Czech beer is really good!
The bar owner and the guys were probably the friendliest and funniest people we met in Prague.
Seeing the four of us busy editing the invoice circle with our eyes fixed on our phones, the boss pretended to be angry and said, “I’ll turn off the WiFi.” He asked us where we were from, and we joked: north Korea. As a result, he immediately said "Sarah hey", and his reaction was very hahaha! He also used Google Translate to learn Chinese and asked us what we thought of Czech beer. (I didn’t hear it at first, but we found out 233 after he showed us his cell phone)
write at the end
…
In fact, the experience during these two days in Prague was not very good. Let’s not mention that the food is not delicious. There are so many various attractions that it feels similar to domestic attractions. Everyone has also seen the news. I was standing in Prague at dusk during various anti-China incidents in Prague. Here, the unfriendly looks and unfriendly words we encountered really hurt our points. On the one hand, when they see Chinese tourists, they want to see lambs waiting to be slaughtered; on the other hand, they are anti-Chinese in various ways. To be honest, if you want to ask, is it beautiful? All I can say is yes, but not that irreplaceable.
