The streets of Asahikawa are extremely lonely. It feels like a typical aging city. There are basically no young people on the streets.
DAY5: Otaru ~ Asahikawa (Part 2)
Asahikawa street scene
There is a popular local thing called "Genghis Khan BBQ", which tastes similar to Korean BBQ. It can be regarded as a winter izakaya.
BBQ
I passed by a drugstore, which was the largest on this trip, so I picked it up to talk about. I forgot to take a photo, so I took it from Google Street View.
There is everything that should be there, and there is also everything that shouldn't be there. If you go to Asahikawa, it is recommended not to miss it. It's a little far from the station and there's a sign on it.
Shop street view
It was getting dark again, so I went to the AEON MALL in front of the station to stroll around. The first time I saw AEON was in Hong Kong, where it’s called AEON.
The shopping mall is very large, not inferior to the Daimaru Department Store in Sapporo later, which makes me doubt whether there is so much customer flow to support it.
AEON
I went upstairs to play the FGO arcade machine that I had longed for, and saw the noise at the Pachinko store in Otaru yesterday.
Thinking that the arcade room in Sapporo might have the same atmosphere, I decided to play in a secluded place in Asahikawa.
Arcade machines are not cheap compared to mobile games. Printing a card costs 100, and playing for an hour to earn 4 rounds of 10 rounds is 4,000.
This machine is really not durable. It crashed while playing with it. . . It can be regarded as unlocking an alternative achievement.

Go back to your room and sleep in a small duplex for the only night of this trip. The cheapest but most thoughtfully decorated, OVER on the fifth day.
As the trip comes to an end and shopping sessions gradually increase, the travel notes will become more and more watery, so please forgive me.
