In the early morning in Raohe, the weather was beautiful. The sun shines on the river and also on the riverside. There seem to be some factories on the shore, with remnants of the 1960s and 1970s.
There is a fishery patrol boat parked on the river, with red flags fluttering in the wind. Across the river is Russia.
There are some Ionic-style pillars in the riverside square, but the style is a bit inconsistent.
The main road leading to Fuyuan is far away from the river. Fortunately, there are still paths along the river that can pass through, and it passes a Hezhe village in the north.
The river water has a high humus content, turning brown near and black in the distance.
I met two sheepherders on the road.
I didn’t find anything strange in the Hezhe villages, but the bad roads along the way left a deep impression on me. I used all the techniques for crossing single-sided bridges and double-sided bridges, and I had to get out of the car from time to time to take a look at the environment.
The place names along the way are rich in geographical and historical characteristics.
Passing by the Naoli River. Many rivers in the Northeast have wide river beds and overflowing river surfaces.
Fertile black soil.
A majestic tractor.
I stopped and watched people plowing the land for a long time. The tractor driver said that there were not many trips back and forth on this day. Those of us from the South find it very eye-opening.
The granary of the Northeast is well-deserved.
Finally, on this National Memorial Day, I hope this fertile land will always be peaceful, prosperous and strong.
