Recently, I have been brainwashed by "Want to See You" to the point where I look forward to Sunday's update every day. I have fallen into Xu Guanghan's endless sense of youth, so the music has also changed from Mayday to the theme song of Ba San Yao.

All of my travel photo records came from my iPhone, and I was too lazy to carry a camera with me when I went out. Place names in blue font can be entered into navigation or Dianping to get directions. Use Grab to hail a taxi and avoid the hassle of detours and haggling.

DAY 5

Weekends in Chiang Mai are used for going to the markets. The day starts at 7 o'clock in the morning, from Bread Market to JJ Market, then to Yushu Handmade Market , and finallySaturday Night Market. We also tried motorcycles, cars, songthaews, and vans as means of transportation. There are so many markets, which one is the most special? You may have your own answer after reading it.

We agreed to get up early and go to the bread market together, but in the end the whole army was wiped out and we overslept, leaving me alone, riding a scooter, freezing to the freezing temperatures in the early morning.

The bread market is open every Saturday morning. Number plates will be collected from 7:30, starting from A1 to A60. Then enter the dedicated bread area in batches, which feels a bit hungry marketing.

I arrived at eight o'clock and only got a D45. There were already more than 200 people in front of me.

Bread ranges from 20 baht to 60 baht. Personally, I think the taste is average, but the experience is more important. After all, I believe that most of the ingredients used in 25 yuan bread will be better than 5 yuan. The wool comes from the sheep.

Finally, free coffee is provided, which satisfies consumers' feeling that they are taking advantage. Others go to the market to buy, but I can't help but look at their layout details, marketing psychology and differentiated positioning. It can be regarded as an occupational disease and curiosity.

As a beverage lover, I can’t help but be curious when I see all kinds of novel flavors. Pea juice, avocado milkshake, longan soy milk, guava juice, orchard orange juice, fresh milk... After buying them, I brought them back to the team who got up late to taste them together. It was a rare day to get up early, but I still made a contribution.

Pack your bags and go back to meet the fairies who are still putting on their makeup.

Every time the third sister-in-law escorts everyone to the car in an orderly manner, it is especially like Mama-sang arranging the fairies to go to work to pick up the guests.

JJ Market has two days, Saturday and Sunday. If time is limited, it is recommended to only come on Sunday. The scale is larger and the experience will be better. Just a small preview of what Saturday will feel like. The business hours are from 7:00 to 13:00. Many stalls have a limited number of items, so come early to get more.

When surrounded by enough big trees and blue sky, any arrangement becomes redundant. JJ Market is full of life, but when others were buying small items that are easy to carry, I quietly bought wooden boxes for eggs and wooden stands for green plants. The third sister-in-law said that the extra checked baggage fee is probably as expensive as the items...

A naughty boy who drank some strange juice - Wild

After visiting JJ Market, I took a taxi to eat Five Color RiceMeena Rice Based Cuisine. I also happened upon the Yushu Handmade Market on the weekend. When I looked up, I discovered that all kinds of materials can be turned into art. It is a very natural and simple market. It is open from 9:00 to 14:00 on weekends. It closes the stalls quite early, so it will be more lively if you go early.

On the straight road leading to the restaurant at the end, there are various shops on the left and right sides. There are not many people there yet, so you can wander around slowly.

There are too many pictures taken, so let the pictures speak for themselves.

This bowl of noodle soup on the roadside is quite delicious, at least better than the restaurant you go to specially.

After queuing for an hour or two, I felt that the Meena five-color rice restaurant was not particularly delicious. It all tasted sour and sour, which was a bit unfamiliar to me. But the market in that area was an unexpected bonus. The main five-color rice ball doesn't have any sweet or salty taste, it's just a rice ball. The other dishes don't have much memory, at least I won't repurchase it a second time.

Before leaving, in order to take a beautiful photo of Tiantian, I stepped into a puddle without looking at the ground. It would be a waste of a young man not to get into trouble, and my third sister-in-law complained about it again.

The eight-person team will leave first tomorrow, and the remaining three people will move to the Youth Travel-Thailand Bath Center Hotel for one night tonight.

Walking around the ancient city at night, I also discovered a very delicate cat along the way.

and a slender vintage store that can basically only be accessed by one person.

The night market on Saturdays and Sundays has become a bit boring now. I walked through it in a hurry and went back to rest without many surprises.

DAY6

It’s another day to get up early to go to the market. The JJ Market every Sunday morning from 8:00 to 13:00 is really a refreshing experience of all markets. It is completely different in scale and feeling from Saturday. Today It's so big that the entire park is occupied, with a full range of categories.

The fireworks of music, sunshine and fragrance bring you inexplicable joy and happiness as soon as you enter. There are more than 100 flavors of handmade jam stalls, each one is so special, it feels like your suitcase is bursting.

I still can't get used to drinking goat's milk, it's fresh but has a lingering taste.

After visiting so many markets, I still can’t contain my excitement here.

I experienced a stall that was sold out instantly before anyone squeezed in or even touched the vase I wanted. Turning back to look at the third sister-in-law, she said with a sad face, "I really want the ones that were taken away just now."

Everyone has a weakness when it comes to favorite things. No matter how cost-effective it is, it just has my mother’s name on it. Inexplicably, I bought a right hand that I couldn’t put down, and the left hand was taken away by a stranger. The third sister-in-law asked me why I bought it back? I said I would give you melon seeds to eat...

But this love that I couldn't put down was accidentally broken into pieces by a cute child on the first day of the New Year, and I still feel a little distressed to this day.

A group of people who change their clothes every day, the Dali team went home first today, and the remaining three who went back to Shenzhen still have some unfinished business after two days of shopping. It would be so cool to drive a retro Beetle and set up a stall.

I'm reluctant to say goodbye and look forward to continuing to travel to more corners of the world as a group next time.

Because the Sunday market time of Baan Kang Wat Art Village completely conflicts with JJ, it was already past 1 o'clock when I rushed over after shopping, and I missed the Morning Market here. I will come back later. One reason.

Their display booth was removable and I stood aside silently for a long time. Next time I want to go early in the morning to see how they set up and enter the venue, and how they can open the stall so early and still have it so beautifully decorated.

I found a small shop that served beef with basil leaves, a very special taste.

This time I did not choose to take a taxi and leave here directly. I walked on the dusty road and made additional discoveries.

Each of the four or five brands in one courtyard occupies a small room, which is a bit like the concept of a domestic gathering space. You need to take off your shoes when entering the room. The soles of your feet are cool and comfortable. Walking around is really a way of traveling that is full of surprises.

In addition to creating this gathering space called Paper Spoon, several designers seemed to be working together to get what they needed. The PAI YAN NOI Guest Home next door is also operated by them. The price is 1,500 baht/room, which is very cost-effective. It is said that it is extremely popular and needs to be booked in advance. If you rent four rooms for 8-10 people, you can reserve the entire area and have a garden. The location is right behind Chiang Mai University and it is convenient to travel.

On my last night in Chiang Mai, I fulfilled my wish of killing horses and chickens twice a day. Going to the market for two consecutive days was really the biggest test of my foot strength.

We went to a restaurant where 1 baht porridge was served for late night snacks, and rode a bicycle in the ancient city. When I woke up, I wanted to pack my bags and go home.

DAY7

The third sister-in-law said that single people should stay in youth hostels more often. Maybe they can meet love when they go downstairs. When we opened the door in the morning, our hearts were moved when we saw this guy❤️

When there are many people, it is suitable to stay in a large house. When there are not many people, it is also good to experience a youth hostel. Ban Heart Thai in the ancient city has convenient transportation and a lot of public spaces. It costs less than 100 yuan per person and has single and double bed options. It's clean and you can make new friends.

In the past, the youth hostel seemed to be noisy and disruptive to rest, but now it is like a middle-aged dormitory, which is extremely quiet and harmonious at night.

When I bought it, I felt that it was okay and very restrained. When I was packing, I realized what it means to add up to a small amount. The hard-earned money from the Buddhist human flesh purchasing agent was finally contributed to the taxi and check-in fees. I bought more than 20 KG of luggage silently. Fee, the third sister-in-law said it was like packing and shipping in a warehouse...

Facts have proved that the food tastes better when there are more people rushing to eat it. The second time I went to Four Color Toast Go puek Go dum, one bowl per person, but without a group of people to share it, it suddenly lost its flavor.

In the afternoon before leaving, several people were too lazy to go anywhere and spent more than two hours in the massage parlor. Baby Su Nan, who usually doesn't wear makeup, ended up going to a beauty store and accidentally bought a bunch of cosmetics. She bought a magical jellyfish bag for a friend, and then headed to the airport to end her trip to Chiang Mai.

Following last month’s one-week in-depth tour of Bangkok (for the guide, click here: Three Tours in the World|Bangkok In-depth Tour of Sukhumvit area and Three Tours of the World|Bangkok In-depth Tour of those niche markets in the suburbs), this month’s A one-week in-depth tour of Chiang Mai can be considered as the first time I experienced and explored a city in depth in Bangkok, which I have been to seven or eight times. Every place has a completely different character and appearance, take your time to experience it, and then find the shape that suits you.

In a few days, I will start traveling to Malaysia with my parents. Welcome to continue to follow the travel notes, hoping to break the curse that makes it difficult for both parents to travel together.
