This year I want to take the Tour Guide Qualification Examination, and one of the on-site tour guides preparing for the exam is the Xujiahuiyuan Tourist Area.
I never go on a systematic tour, I just go around casually when I have free time on weekends.
The first stop is the Shanghai Insect Museum.I held events here in the past two years, and it was renovated at the beginning of this year. I thought there would be big changes. In fact, except for the addition of an International Nature Conservation Week display on the first floor, other exhibits and designs remain the same. The double reduction effect is remarkable, and the number of parents and children in the insectarium has increased significantly. This is a good thing. After leaving the Insect Museum, we took one subway stop to Star City for a not-so-satisfactory lunch, and then started looking for the Shanghai Film Museum.Film Street is a road that has been walked for the first time. I searched for reviews on the way and found out that the Film Museum requires reservations and tickets in advance. I was careless.
The weather in Daohuangmei was humid and sultry. When I was waiting for the traffic light, I found the security guard sitting at the door. I thought I would forget it this time and stopped going in for a visit. After crossing the road and walking less than 200 meters, we saw the red house of Tushanwan Museum.
I took a panoramic view of the facade across the road.On-site temperature measurement, making an appointment, reading the health code, and scanning the itinerary code. The attitude of the aunts and uncles is very patient and meticulous, thumbs up!
The Chinese archway, the treasure of Zhenguan, is really shocking and exquisitely carved. I suggest you check out the introduction online. There are small sailboat exhibitions on the left and right sides, and no photos were taken.Passing through the hall, the autumn afternoon sunshine shines on the red bricks, becoming gentle against the backdrop of red flowers and green leaves. The Xujiahuiyuan sand table at the entrance has a general sense of direction and scale. The Shanghai Insect Museum donated specimens.
After systematically understanding the history of Tushan Bay, the foreign church teachers are still very powerful.
Walk along Wending Road to Guangqi Park. When we walked to Xu Guangqi's tomb, there happened to be a couple. The man explained to the girl the ancient inscriptions under the cross of the Catholic Church, along with historical explanations. I wanted to follow behind to gain more knowledge, but the single guy was still shy, so he left after listening to a few words. .
Before leaving the park, I went back and read the inscription carefully. All exhibits in Xu Guangqi Exhibition Hall are bilingual in Chinese and English. If you don’t read the inscription on the relocation monument, you will miss the introduction of Nan Chun Hua Tang. The architecture is really exquisite, and the Jiangnan ancient houses are really comfortable.I don’t know if it’s a double deduction or a child in a study class. Before leaving the exhibition hall, everyone gathered around the security office to get their stamps stamped.
The excitement of getting the stamp was palpable, and of course it was loud during the visit.Fortunately, no one else was visiting except me.The old clock outside the volunteer office area has a special sense of time.I have seen many scenic spot introductions in English, Japanese, and Korean, but this is the first time I noticed the Braille guide map in the tourist area.
We set off to the old building on the road to the Meteorological Museum and checked that it was the former site of Xujiahui Monastery. The new building on the right side of the Catholic Church, with its columns, reminds me of the arcade on Jinling East Road.I didn’t take pictures of the renovated Catholic church because many internet celebrities and aunties were taking pictures. And the plants are not very lush at this time, so I will check in later. The old site of Xujiahui Observatory is temporarily closed. I took two pictures of the wall and ground outside the wall. The Xujiahui Library is temporarily closed, so no photos were taken while passing by.
The decoration of Bailianwai makes people laugh. The interesting integration of mobile networks and street greening creates a sense of scale as the number increases. On Hunan Road, under the quiet plane trees and its old houses.Walking back slowly, I passed by many famous roads and countless small shops. The boulevard is beautiful, so take a photo.A one-day trip to Xujiahuiyuan, completed.
