Before the Spring Festival of 2021, the epidemic spread sporadically in many places. In response to the national call, we celebrated the New Year in Nansha, Guangzhou.
During the Spring Festival, the weather in Guangzhou is particularly good, 15-25℃, the sun is bright, and the flowers are blooming in spring. It is suitable for outings. We use the Spring Festival holiday to walk around and see the great rivers and mountains of the motherland. We chose Danxia Mountain, a red stone park in China.

1We set off from Nansha at 8 a.m. on the 5th, passing through Nansha Avenue-Nansha Port Expressway-South China Expressway-Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway-Nanshao Expressway. After more than 3 hours we arrived at the World Geopark, a national 5A tourist attraction. -Danxia Mountain.
There are two major scenic spots in Danxia Mountain Scenic Area, namely Elder Peak and Yangyuan Mountain.
These two scenic spots are separate and have independent ticket gates, but they are both included in the Danxia Mountain ticket and can be reached by scenic buses.
If you are driving by yourself, you can also drive into the scenic spot. At the first stop, we went straight to Elder Peak and drove directly to the ropeway parking lot.
Taking the ropeway to the main peak of Danxia Mountain is quick and easy. The Rudder Stone, Shaoyintai and Guanri Pavilion on the mountain are the best spots to see the beautiful scenery of Danxia Mountain.
The famous first sacred peak of Danxia Mountain: Sengmao Peak, with an altitude of more than 400 meters. Sengmao Peak has a steep terrain, rugged rocks, and cliffs on all sides. It is named Sengmao Peak because the mountain looks like a monk's hat, and is the symbol of Danxia Mountain.

The Jinjiang River flows green, elephants emerge from the mountains, and the beautiful Danxia landforms such as Sisters Peak, Teapot Peak, and Yuping Peak are all visible. Then go down the mountain from the Gospel Plank Road - One Line of Sky - Yin Yuan Stone - Xianglong Lake
After finishing the tour of the Elder Peak Scenic Area, you can drive to Duanshi Village. There are many B&Bs and restaurants in the village. You can find an inn to settle down, take a rest, and then eat some local food. B&B recommends Yueshanju
After breakfast the next day, we first went to see Yangyuan Stone and Shaibu Rock, and then took a boat trip to Danxia on the Water. Along the way, you can enjoy the uncanny masterpieces of nature such as the Red Cliff Red Cliff, the Golden Tortoise Pilgrimage, and the Avalokitesvara Avalokitesvara giving birth to a child.
The ticket to the Danxia Mountain Scenic Area is 30 yuan, valid for 48 hours. You can drive into the scenic area by yourself. The parking fee is 15 yuan, valid for 24 hours. There is a free bus in the scenic area that goes directly to the scenic spot. If you have friends, I suggest you visit Yangyuanshi on the first day, and then take a bamboo raft, the sunset will be more beautiful; you can get up early the next day and take the ropeway (the ropeway opens at 5 a.m.) to watch the sun on Laosangfeng Mountain Watch the sunrise from the pavilion.
