Day 8: Climb Kazila Mountain and arrive in Litang. The total mileage is 642.6km.

Please lend me your two feathers
Don't fly far away
Just go back when you get to Litang
Tsangyang Gyatso - "Crane"
So far, there are no rides or strollers. Ever since Zheduo Mountain, I saw vans carrying people who couldn’t ride and hitchhiked every day. I thought to myself, there weren’t many people who had vowed not to hitchhike the whole way. I'm glad I persisted. Every mountain on the Sichuan-Tibet line is a watershed. The number of riders riding up has been reduced exponentially. The large groups that set off from Chengdu now give each other a thumbs up when they meet other groups.
Some people just hitchhike, they ride uphill and downhill, and when they get back they still brag that they have ridden the entire journey to Sichuan and Tibet.
Faced with such a person, I can only be speechless
Preparation——
Salute! Comrades, thank you for your hard work! ! !
Ride up the Kazila Mountain.
To be honest, this pose is really tiring.
This kind of graffiti is too much
There are long mountains and long rivers, and the road ahead is long. The green hills are still there, so charming.
It’s so comfortable to walk on the plateau at an altitude of 4,000 meters+. For the plateau, it’s spring when hundreds of flowers are in bloom, with all kinds of beautiful wild flowers~
How can I be missing this flower?
Does it look like a dog, or a male?
Captain, Xiao Qiao, Ah Hui, Mo Zi, me
I would hit the road before setting off every day because they knew I would be anxious if I rode too fast. So except for the kids and the shy guy who took the lead, our formation was pretty much like this every day. Hahaha, this sense of teamwork and tacit understanding is very rare. So much so that when I rode with a local cycling team, I couldn’t find the rhythm I had back then. So I always say that without these teammates, it would be difficult for Mouse and I to complete the entire journey.
Litang Tunnel
Now riding the Southern Sichuan-Tibet Line is no longer as difficult as it used to be. You don’t have to climb many high mountains and just go through tunnels. I have to say, the words in the picture below!
Passing by Honglong Township
Arrive at destination, Litang
Litang Street
Today is July 28, 2013, my 23rd birthday. Mouse secretly ordered a cake for me and celebrated with my teammates in the evening. It seemed like everyone knew it was my birthday today. Every rider at Longda Station All my friends gave me blessings. I had an unforgettable birthday in Litang and had a delicious meal of fish and meat. The proprietress of the restaurant even gave me a bowl of longevity noodles.
You can see the sunburned face with clear upper and lower faces.
After eating and drinking too much, Shy Brother also showed us various uses of "sanitary napkins" during riding in the evening. Sichuan and Tibet's integrity has no lower limit. Unfortunately I couldn't find the video either.
Later I heard that the captain picked up a girl who was hiking that night, and she and her boyfriend broke up after a quarrel and shared a room with him.
day9 take a day off
Xiaoyu, went to the Changchun Keer Temple. Changqingchun Ker Temple, also known as Litang Temple, was founded in 1580 by the third Dalai Lama Sonam Gyatso. It is the oldest and largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Kham. "Chang Qing Qing Ke" is a Tibetan transliteration. "Chang Qing" means Maitreya Buddha (the future Buddha). "Chun Ke" means Dharma Wheel. The truth lasts forever).
Tsangyang Gyatso had never been to Litang in his life, and this place was indeed the saddest place name in his heart.
Because Litang is the hometown of Cangyang Gyatso’s lover.
After Cangyang Gyatso's death, the monks of the three major temples got inspiration from the poem "Crane". Since he "returned only to Litang", they went to Litang to find the reincarnation of Cangyang Gyatso.
