Weekend trip to China plan

Introduction

After buying China Eastern Airlines Flying Xinjiang, I discovered the Beijing-Dali line with a discerning eye. The ticket was hard to get, but I finally got it this weekend on August 15.

In fact, I have been to Dali twice. The first time was when I was on a graduation trip with my best friend. I didn’t enjoy the sightseeing tour with the group, so I had regrets about Dali and looked forward to going again.

The second time was during the Spring Festival holiday in 2017. I went to Dali with my parents. On the day I arrived in Dali, I suddenly had work to deal with, so I worked for a day in the hotel with my computer looking at the Erhai Lake, and I left with regrets.

This is the third time that I took my husband to Dali. I thought that if I traveled with my lover in this romantic place, I would have no regrets.

Day1

Ancient city, Three Pagodas Temple

This trip took off from Daxing Airport, which is more than 60 kilometers away from our home, so we have never dared to try it. This was the first time to depart from Daxing Airport, so we were still a little nervous, so we set off from home at 4 o'clock in the morning.

Since there was no traffic jam in the early morning, we drove for an hour and arrived at the airport at 5 o'clock. After entering the airport, I changed my paper boarding pass (actually you don’t need to change it, just swipe your ID card to board the plane), went through security check and walked to the boarding gate. It took a total of 10 minutes. It was so fast that my jaw dropped and I had to pay attention to Daxing Airport. Thumbs up.

We arrived at Dali Airport smoothly at 10:30. It was indeed the south of colorful clouds. Look at the clouds that are different from those in Beijing.

Take the airport bus that goes directly to Dali Ancient Town for 25 yuan per person, which is cost-effective and convenient. About an hour later we arrived at the south gate of Dali Ancient City.

It was almost noon, so I hurriedly went to the Internet celebrity restaurant that I had collected in advance to eat.

Here’s the key point: If you want to eat and drink well during your trip, you must do your homework before coming and mark all the restaurants mentioned in the guide on the map so that you can quickly find the nearest food.

The closest one to us is the famous internet celebrity check-in restaurant I’m Waiting for You in Dali·Ark Fatty Restaurant (Address: No. 495, Renmin Road, Gucheng, Dali City, Yunnan Province), which is just a few minutes’ walk away.

This season is a good time to eat wild mushrooms. The main business of this restaurant is mushroom hot pot. There are photos and introductions of various mushrooms in the store. Most of them have never been seen before, so they are extremely precious.

The waiter brought the menu and enthusiastically introduced which fresh mushrooms had just arrived.

So I ordered a plate of old man’s head (we don’t know what kind of mushrooms it is, but it’s expensive and fresh anyway), a plate of porcini mushrooms, and a plate of assorted mushrooms, which came with chicken soup base. I also ordered two more dishes, one with mushrooms. Mushroom fried rice and a dessert, waiting to be eaten.

After a while, the bottom of the pot and the mushrooms came up. The waiter introduced the functions of each mushroom while putting it in the pot, and sprinkled a large amount of Yunnan safflower. He took an hourglass and said that you must eat it when the hourglass is running smoothly, otherwise you may See a bunch of little people surrounding you, hahaha. . . .

At this time, the stir-fried dishes came. The first one was fried shrimps and mushrooms. It was expensive and delicious anyway. The mushrooms were delicious and the river shrimps were crispy.

The second dish was so delicious that we both almost licked the plate - fish fillet stuffed with porcini mushrooms, which was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and thick juice. At first, we even used chopsticks to pick it up. At the end, it is served directly on a spoon. The soup is paired with tender fish fillets and delicious mushrooms. It is really delicious. No wonder it costs one hundred yuan for a plate.

At this time, the hourglass has also run out, and you can start eating mushroom hotpot~

Let’s try the soup first. Wow, it’s so fresh that I lost my eyebrows. How can it be so fresh?

Let's add some mushrooms and add the dipping sauce prepared by the waiter. Wow~ It's so delicious that I want to scream. It's fresh and spicy, even better than meat.

While we were eating hot pot, mushroom fried rice was also served. After taking a bite, I exclaimed, how could it be so delicious? It has a unique umami flavor and endless aftertaste. It is a hundred times more delicious than egg fried rice, although egg fried rice is already delicious.

As I ate, my stomach felt unsatisfactory. After paying the bill, we went to find the B&B we had booked before.

The B&B is located in the ancient city. It took more than ten minutes to walk there. The boss greeted us at the door and took us into the quaint courtyard. Every corner of the courtyard is exquisite and there is an ink painting. We went upstairs and chose a beautiful double bed room. The room was really exquisite (the picture was taken when we came back at night).

I feel like I am enjoying myself just living here without going out. Of course, we also have to check in at the Three Pagodas Temple that the little fat man has been thinking about.

After packing up, we went out. The Three Pagodas are very close to the ancient city. In order to save time, we took a taxi directly to the entrance of the scenic spot.

The scenic spot puts the most beautiful scenery at the entrance. At the ticket gate, you can see the famous reflection of the Three Pagodas.

Take some photos, walk inside, and arrive at the foot of the Three Towers. There is also a "sky realm" for tourists to take photos. It is actually a mirror placed on the steps, and this is what it looks like when you take a photo.

After taking the photo, we walked a few steps and arrived at the foot of the main tower of the ancient pagoda. Looking up, the ancient pagoda was extremely majestic. It was surrounded by people circling the tower. We also followed the crowd and circled the tower three times.

After walking past the Three Pagodas, there is a hidden best photo spot. On a fork in the main road, the Three Pagodas seen here shine brightly in the sunlight, which is different from the backlight effect at the door.

Reflection of the Three Towers

After taking photos, we walked a few steps and officially entered the gate of the temple. In this cloudy weather, it feels like the entire temple is surrounded by Cangshan Mountains and surrounded by fairy spirit. It's a pity that the camera is not good enough to capture that feeling.

The temple is very large, with more than a dozen main halls and small halls. Finally, we climbed to the highest and last main hall, Guanyin Pavilion. You can overlook the Erhai Lake from the upper floor, which is so beautiful.

At this time, it is also time for the scenic spot to close, so we go down the mountain and leave the scenic spot. I found a bus back to the ancient city outside the scenic area, got on the bus, and arrived at the south gate of the ancient city in a short while.

In the evening, the ancient city really wakes up. The city is bustling with activity. First of all, there is a bar street.

Going forward is Wuhua Building.

After walking past Wuhua Building, there is a pedestrian street with various shops on both sides. All kinds of snacks filled our stomachs.

Yang's milk fan is said to be super delicious with rose sauce, but there are so many people that we need to queue up. Later we found that the grandmothers on the roadside make the same taste, so we don't have to queue up.

They also have handmade Erbiao, which is probably a pie-like food made of rice flour. Personally, I don’t think it’s very delicious, but you can try it. It’s a local specialty that you can’t find anywhere else.

There is a restaurant that sells cold shredded chicken rice noodles that I saw in the guide. It is really delicious, but many of them have the same sign. You have to look for this one: Zaihuishou No. 1 (Renmin Road No. 2) (Address: No. 198, Renmin Road, Gucheng, Dali City, Yunnan Province ), especially refreshing and delicious with sweet and sour taste.

While walking, I arrived at another store I have collected, Pang Ding Milk Tea Store. The rose milk tea in the store is so delicious. The thick milk tea is paired with rose sauce, which makes my mouth water. Their rose jam is also very good, I bought a bottle to take back.

There were many books in the store. The little fat man picked up Liaozhai and couldn't put it down. He sat down and couldn't leave.

After he finished reading a chapter, take him to find another favorite gourmet shop - Qingshiqiao.

At this time, it started to rain, and we held our umbrellas and quickly found the Bluestone Bridge.

This is a snack bar frequented by locals, mainly selling rice noodles, Ersi and other local daily foods.

I ordered a bowl of Ersi and one-night roll noodles. The taste was a little bit hard to get used to, but the locals eat it every day, so just give it a try.

The rain was getting heavier and we hurried back to the B&B.

There was a big tea table in the B&B, and the little fat man’s eyes were shining again as he sat in front of the tea table and made tea. The boss collected some good teas and shared them with us without hesitation. The water for making tea is said to be spring water from Cangshan Mountain, and it tastes really sweet. My favorite, Dianhong, with a hint of caramel flavor~

After drinking tea for a while, I went to bed~ I have to take a cruise tomorrow.

Day2

Erhai Lake Cruise, Xizhou

At 8 o'clock in the morning, I got up on time, packed everything, checked out, and set off. The store gave me two breakfast coupons for the breakfast shop at the door. I ate some breakfast. The buns here are really delicious. There should be some kind of mushrooms in them. They are delicious. Incomparable.

After breakfast, take a taxi to Dali Port Pier. Exchange your ticket and board the ship in one go.

Erhai No.1

The ship is divided into four floors. Each floor has a large lounge, bar or restaurant. The second floor is the performance hall, where you can watch the three-course tea show.

After watching the show, you can go to the deck to enjoy the scenery, but it is raining continuously today, otherwise you will definitely be able to see the blue sky and lake reflecting each other.

After driving for two hours, we arrived at Nanshao Fengqing Island, a famous island in the Erhai Lake. There are famous photo spots here (semi-circular transparent swings, seaside bars, etc.). Unfortunately, they all charge a fee and there are so many people. In order to get around the island Tour for a while longer (the boat will set off after only 50 minutes of tour time). We found a place with few people to take photos, and then went around the island.

Standing on the island, you can see the panoramic view of the double corridors and Yang Liping's Moon Palace.

The island's strange rocks and vegetation are particularly lush. After 40 minutes, we completed the island circumnavigation and returned to the ship.

The cruise ship blew its whistle and continued its journey, this time crossing the Erhai Lake and docking at the Taoyuan Pier opposite. The cruise ship docked half an hour later.

The actors who had just performed three courses of tea beat gongs and drums to see the tourists off the ship, and the voyage officially ended.

After leaving the pier, we found an unusual traffic jam. Didi couldn't even get a taxi in, so we walked to a parking lot, hoping to hail a taxi or find a bus. Finally, we found a tram and negotiated a price of 20 yuan to go to Xizhou Ancient Town.

The scenery along the way was so beautiful. I took the road around Erhai Lake and saw the sea of flowers and farmland on the roadside. There were even big white geese in the fields. I sang "Little Chang'e" unconsciously.

In about half an hour, we arrived at Xizhou Ancient City.

I like the appearance of Xizhou Ancient City. It has a strong historical charm. The winding alleys and the big banyan tree at the entrance of the alleys tell the history of this place.

Xizhou’s famous delicacy is Xizhou Baba, which has been served in China on the Tip of the Tongue. It is soft, fragrant and especially delicious.

After walking through the long alley, I found Banyuanlou, an Internet celebrity restaurant. This is a restaurant opened in an ancient house. When you enter, you will see a screen wall. When you turn a corner, you will find a courtyard. Each room is transparent and filled with food. Table, various flowers and plants in the yard.

I ordered a few Bai specialties, including Bai special fish in sour soup, Bai barbecue, cold lettuce, and fermented milk fan soup. The taste is okay, not as amazing as the mushroom hot pot yesterday, but it is very unique.

After eating and drinking, go to the famous attraction in the ancient town - the Yan Family Courtyard. The Yan family was a wealthy local businessman in modern times and had a large house with five courtyards in the ancient town. The houses in the south are very different from those in the north. Although they are all courtyard houses, the architectural style is mainly terraces. There are various beautifully carved flower windows in the house. The second floor is connected. You can browse the entire house directly on the second floor. House. There are various ancient furniture, various old photos and silk fabric exhibits from the Ming and Qing Dynasties indoors.

It is worthy of being the house of a wealthy businessman. There is a treasury in the backyard, a mountain of copper coins, an unearthed copper coin jar, and various plaques on display in the front hall, highlighting the prominence of the owner.

An hour later, I finished visiting the Yan family compound and was ready to go to the airport. I have to say that Xizhou is far away from the airport. The airport is to the south of Erhai Lake, and Xizhou is to the northwest of Erhai Lake. You need to drive half a circle around Erhai Lake to get there. I couldn't find a more suitable transportation, so I had to take a Didi taxi for 120 yuan to get there. Airport.

Board the plane and take off back to Beijing. This trip is officially over~
