On the occasion of the baby's birthday, a family of three went to Xiamen for 4 days. This was actually the first time I took my baby on a trip.

In addition to spending a day on Gulangyu Island, you can basically play along the beach on Huandao Road at other times. I personally think that 3 days and 2 nights in Xiamen is actually enough.

The following is divided into sections to talk about the experience and feelings of each part. Today we mainly talk about Transportation and Hotel.

For the flight from Shanghai to Xiamen, we chose the flight that departed at 8 a.m. and returned at 8 p.m. on the fourth day, which gave us exactly 4 full days of time to play. Air tickets are very cheap recently, 300 per person.

Xiamen Island is very small, and the starting price of a taxi is 10 yuan. With the concentration of scenic spots, the taxi fare is not high. Public transportation is also very convenient. There may be cute little buses at the entrances of scenic spots. Just swipe the Alipay QR code.

Note: It is not recommended to take a taxi on the roadside, use a taxi app directly. The cars provided by Cao Cao in Xiamen are cleaner, and of course Didi is also very convenient. (Roadside taxis are a pity. The local taxi driver in Xiamen himself complained about the uncivilized nature of this incident.)

I bought the Haiyatt Hotel in Ctrip’s live broadcast before. Later, I searched online and found out that it happened to be an internet celebrity family hotel. The average price is 450 per night, and it says you can make a reservation 3 days in advance. However, since I am inexperienced, I really only have 3 days in advance, which is embarrassing. The corresponding room type is full, so I can only upgrade the room type at a higher price. Everyone learns a lesson.

At Haiyue Villa, the outdoor swimming pool can be used from May Day to the end of October. It has its own villa and beach. The outdoor swimming pool is very shallow, and the children love the feeling of sliding down the slide. You can make an appointment with the lobby to row the Internet-famous white boat, or you can take a battery car to visit the villa. It is said that you can also make an appointment for a guide. Haiyue also has a small game called Plant Story, where you can take your children to find the corresponding plants to check in. The main point is to talk about its buffet breakfast, which is rich in variety and very surprising.

We live in the executive building (main building), and there is an outdoor swimming pool downstairs. Unfortunately, it is closed in November and cannot be used in the water, but the scenery is pleasant and pleasing to the eye. Haiyue itself faces the sea, and the large bathtub next to the window in the room just satisfies my fantasy. The hotel provides bubble bath materials.

There were some hiccups in the middle: we were initially given a corner room, which could see the sea, but it was diagonally opposite. We called to ask if we could change to another room. Someone came to change us very quickly and asked if we needed it. Luggage trolley helps.

Haiyue has its own heated indoor swimming pool. You can go there for free with your room number. Children can also go, but they must wear swimming caps. It costs 40 per person to purchase them on site. It is recommended to prepare them in advance. The children's swimming pool area is fenced separately and is very shallow. The swimming rings of different sizes are fully equipped and it is relatively safe. I forgot to bring bath towels, and the service staff took the initiative to bring 2 towels. The service was very good.

PS: Conrad Hotel is located in the twin towers of the landmark building, with a panoramic view of the sea. However, its price is more expensive, and the overall environment is not family-friendly enough. A friend suggested: Go to Conrad for a buffet, you can still overlook the sea view.
