Cross the Dongshan Bridge from Huangxing Town, Changsha County, and go south for about 2 kilometers. You can see the "Reconstruction of Zuo Zongtang's Tomb Stele" on the side of the highway. Climbing dozens of stone steps from behind the stele, "the tomb of Duke Zuo Wenxiang, Jinghou, a great scholar of the Qing Dynasty" comes into view. There is a stone platform in front of the tomb, equipped with a stone table, a stone drum and a stone incense burner. The couplets engraved on the two sides of the watch read: "The Han Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty established the western frontier forever; the Qinchuan Long Road is blocked by willow trees forever."Although the Zuo Tomb is right next to the road, the road condition is actually not very good. Due to long-term truck damage, the county road passing through Zuo Tomb has become dilapidated. When driving there, be very careful about the potholes on the road. The original left tomb was more spectacular and larger in scale. Due to historical reasons, only its current appearance remains, and it was rebuilt in the 1980s. Having made outstanding achievements during his lifetime, it is not a shame to end up like this after his death.Entering through the iron gate on the roadside is the tomb area.On the left side of the stairs, there are cultural relic protection inscriptions and a brief introduction to Zuo Zongtang. There are also reconstructions of tombstonesThere is a stone statue at the top of the steps. The current situation of Zeng's tomb is similar to that of Zuo's tomb, but it is located at the foot of the mountain, without the noisy cars, making it appear clean. However, the place has now been developed into a tourist attraction, and a temple has been built not far to the east. It is estimated that Wen Zhenggong will not be able to keep quiet.
