This was a long time ago. I have written a lot of cycling travel notes, one or two days, three or four days... But I didn’t leave much writing on my several long-distance rides. Now that I think about it, the reason seems to be that “I have so many feelings and I don’t know where to start.” . Recalling several long-distance rides: Ejina, Qilian, Jiaodong Peninsula, Huanglong River, the memory is very vague, and it is impossible to paint a complete picture bit by bit.
So I think I should write down these memories before I have dementia. Maybe when my brain runs out of things, I can fill them in.
Why ride to Huanglong River? I had already led a team to travel for a few days before, and it had only been half a year. I was still thinking about going on a bicycle, but I really didn’t understand myself.
Due to time constraints, I only made an appointment with Mavericks, but for long-distance riding, two people are the best. It was already the end of October, and the temperature in Qinghai was very low. The area from Xining to Tongren County, Xiahe County, and Sangke Grassland was sparsely populated and desolate, so we started from Linxia City instead.
