Since 2017, due to work reasons, I have been traveling to Guizhou every year. I stayed for a month or two at Nanjing Lukou Airport-Guiyang Longdongbao Airport, and then took a bus from the airport to Zunyi Shiziqiao Passenger Terminal. Stay at Charming Pearl Hotel or Forest Hotel near Zunyi Maocaopu Bus Terminal.

Every time I go to Guizhou, I have to take a walk around the itinerary of Guiyang-Zunyi-Bijie-Chongqing, and with the completion of the company 's local projectSuch, this trip to Guizhou in January should be the last time I go there, so this trip always reminds me of the lyrics of Mr. Li, a citizen of Nanjing:Every time I talk about my past travels with my friends, I dare not say where I have been.

Some cities are like this. Although they have been to many places, they hope to always be there.

1. About Guizhou

Guizhou, abbreviated as "Qian" or "Gui", is located in the hinterland of southwest China, bordering Chongqing, Yunnan, Sichuan and other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. It is an important transportation hub in the southwest region. It was named one of the world's best travel destinations in 2020 by Lonely Planet, the only Chinese province on the list.

Many people's impressions of it come from movies, such as "Roadside Picnic", "The Unknown", "The Last Night on Earth", etc.

Its natural scenery is stunning and it is the only province in China that is not supported by plains. There are magical urban construction, quiet mountains, cool climate, ethnic minority culture, and sour and delicious food , In terms of tourism, God has really given Guizhou a A good deck of cards.

01.About terrain

The entire province of Guizhou has no plains at all and is entirely surrounded by mountains.

Guizhou is full of natural landscapes that are not easy to see in the Jiangnan side: large and small waterfalls can be seen everywhere; layers of terraced fields, rolling mountains and hills.

What I like most are the rolling mountains in Guizhou.

The mountains in Guizhou are so beautiful. The mountains are connected to the mountains, the mountains are hugging the mountains, and the mountains are surrounding the mountains. This scene once made me feel that the mountains here are spiritual. They stand on the land and quietly observe humans and animals. The lives of other living things.

Most of the rooms in the hotels we stayed in faced the mountains. It felt like sleeping in the clouds and mist in the mountains. When you wake up in the morning and open the curtains, you will see the rolling mountains, like waves. Lying inside is healing.

02. About climate

The temperature here is always a little more pleasant than elsewhere.

Guizhou has an average altitude of 1,100 meters and belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone. It's a great place to escape the heat in the summer, but not too cold in the winter.

The positioning it gives to its city is also in line with its characteristics. It is called "Cool Guizhou" . It is cool and refreshing. It is everywhere in Longdongbao Airport. This is the slogan of the city.

When we were rolling in the heat wave of 37 degrees, it was leisurely and leisurely in the comfort of more than 20 degrees.

03.About transportation

The province is full of mountains, which poses great obstacles to road and bridge construction. Therefore, many places need to build bridges in the mountains to open up traffic. Guizhou has many of the world's top 100 bridges. , which is amazing. Now Guizhou is basically Expressways are connected to all counties, and roads are connected to all villages. , traveling is very convenient.

Guiyang, the provincial capital, is located in the center of the province and can radiate well to the surrounding areas. Although the high-speed rail cannot yet reach everywhere, it covers some popular tourist cities.

If taking the train is too far or inconvenient, you can also fly. For example, the very popular Libo does not have a train station, but it does have an airport. Guizhou's airports cover every city and autonomous prefecture. If your city does not have direct flights, you can just transfer through Guiyang.

/01./Zunyi meeting address

Spreading out from the Zunyi meeting site, there are Guanjing Road, Yuping Road, Yangliu Street, Biyun Road... these all have very nice names. Laosha Lane is close to Biyun Road, and the streets are winding and winding. But it is ordinary people's fireworks and eating. These old streets are like spider webs after the rain, crisscrossing each other, but with thin drops of water hanging on them. Everything is so beautiful that it makes no sense.

From early morning to dusk, the poet said that there are few months like May:

/06./Zunyi Food Memory

I think that a city’s food cannot be copied. The reason why it can be passed down is because it retains some unique memories of its own.

Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan have some common characteristics in their food. Both make good use of chili peppers. Spicy is the common tone of the three places. Millet pepper and Sichuan pepper Rijiajia A daily necessity, Yungui is suitable for everything dipped in water . However, the ingredients used in Guizhou cuisine are not that easy to find, so they cannot be opened all over the country like Sichuan cuisine restaurants, but the taste is definitely a specialty player. Guizhou cuisine is sour, spicy, fresh, and Strong will definitely open up a new world for your taste buds.

In particular, Zheergen, which I think tastes like "Chinese version of mustard", is a must-have seasoning on the tongue of Guizhou people. Whether it is dipped in water or used for stir-fry, it is very delicious .

Although I can't accept it, if it's your first time here, you can try it. Maybe you will fall in love with the devilish taste.

Xi Shui Yuan's home-cooked stir-fry

It is a small home-style restaurant, but it is very popular, especially the Xishui white meat, which is particularly delicate. Guizhou has many mountains, so the local area is also rich in bamboo shoots, which are used for stir-fry, and are especially tender.

A sincere and irresponsible record of a purely casual trip (mainly eating and drinking)

Thank you all for watching and take a bow

write on the back

I always remember the first time I went to Guizhou. In April 2017, early in the morning, I took a bus from Bijie Jinsha County to Qianxi County.

The small bus between towns swayed on the winding mountain road. There were not many passengers in the car. One person was sleeping, another was drinking water and looking out the window, and two people were noisily talking and laughing.

After 2 hours, we arrived. When I took my first breath of fresh air, I felt less tired.

After getting off the bus and exiting the station, a corner of the station house revealed a gray-white sky. The taxis and motorcycles on the street were quite deserted, and there was very little business.

The taxi took me through the streets and alleys of this small county.

The low old buildings on the street have been washed into a dilapidated dark color over time, and the words on the huge billboards standing on the roadside seem to have an outdated atmosphere that has been set back 30 years.

CityWalk·Zunyi Travel Notes|Days on the Cloud

The old city is down and out, densely populated, with all kinds of passers-by carrying burdens or walking on the streets, and the whole city has a strong urban atmosphere.

The balconies of residential buildings are piled with daily necessities, clothes are dried to dry, and withered plants are placed. The old man puts the baby in a bamboo stroller and walks around in the flying dust of the passing car. Women wear different styles of clothing and carry After buying food in plastic bags, there were many drunken and rough men with dark faces on the roadside.

Many of the local people I met in Guizhou have petite figures, round faces, and slender eyes. When they smile, their whole faces spread out. Their faces are stained by the strong ultraviolet rays of the mountains all year round. Faces and long faces are rare, and the local dialect spoken around you has to be understood with difficulty. The locals also maintain the style of people in the mountains: down-to-earth, simple, passionate about life, and friendly to strangers.

When you first come to a strange city and strange people, you always feel a little strange and the world is a little mysterious.

Like:

You don’t know who you will meet and whom you will give up in the next second;

You don’t know if there will still be that old street and that coffee shop on the next corner;

You don’t know if there will be a hug when you need warmth, not just an electric blanket;

You don’t know whether he will answer you when you say I love you - me too;

However, as long as you raise your head and see the sunshine in your eyes, you will feel at ease.

I hope everyone can feel the beauty of abundant life.
