Introduction to the Empress Temple: According to legend, in the early years of the Tang Dynasty, there was a severe drought in the eastern mountainous area of Jixian County, killing people and animals. A rich gentleman dreamed of the Nine Heavens Xuannv Empress and cried to him, and the empress was moved. The rich gentry built a temple in the mountains and worshiped it every day. Finally, a clear spring flowed out of the mountains. The Niangniang Temple was destroyed by war in the early 1940s, and the ruins of the old site are now left.
