Meiji Village Introduction: Meiji Village (Meiji Village) is located in the southeast of Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture. It is an outdoor museum that preserves and displays Japanese architecture from 1868 to 1912 (Meiji Era). It was opened on March 18, 1965. Meiji Village is a collection of 63 buildings with historical backgrounds from the Meiji era. Buildings were moved from various places, including hotels built by famous designers, former residences of celebrities, etc., as well as nostalgic steam trains and trams, showing some traces of Japan's transformation from a feudal country to a modern country.
