Introduction to Okazaki Castle: Okazaki Castle was owned by the Tokugawa clan during the Warring States Period and the Azuchi-Momoyama Period. During the Edo Period, it was the seat of the Okazaki Domain Hall. It is world-famous as the place where Tokugawa Ieyasu was born. It is one of the strongholds of Ieyasu's unification of the world. There is a bronze statue of Ieyasu in the castle.
