Introduction to the Millennium Oak Tree: The Millennium Oak Tree is located in the Ganshan Butterfly Valley Scenic Area. The Millennium Oak Tree is the oldest oak tree in the park. It is about 1,200 years old. It is a tree of the genus Quercus in the Fagaceae family. It is 24.5 meters high, 4.38 meters wide at the chest, 21 meters wide from north to south, and 20 meters wide from east to west. Because it is still luxuriant after thousands of years, people call it the "thousand-year-old oak tree" and the "longevity tree". It is one of the important tree landscapes in the park.
