One Lake Introduction: The Shiretoko Five Lakes are located at the top of northeastern Hokkaido and are the tourist center of Shiretoko National Park. Brown bears are often seen. The Shiretoko Five Lakes are like five pearls scattered in the virgin forest. There are walking trails around the five lakes for tourists to watch up close. Occasionally when you need to cross a bridge, you will find that many bridges here are simply old and fallen. The trees reveal their original vitality. There is a Jingyanggang-style notice on the road: "Beware of bears."
