Fushou Mountain in Daxigou, Xinjiang, with pristine natural scenery and ancient temples as its core, is a quiet and mysterious resort in Ili. Fushou Mountain is tall and steep, and looks like an old one. The mountain is covered with green grass and flowers, and the river at the foot of the mountain is winding and gurgling. It is regarded by Taoists as an ideal place for self-cultivation. There are many mountains on the bank, lush trees and fresh air. In spring and summer, the grass is luxuriant, fruit flowers are all over the mountains and fields, the branches are full of fragrance, and the scenery is picturesque.
Fu Shoushan Temple, also known as Daxigou Temple, is one of the largest and earliest Taoist activity sites in Xinjiang during the Qing Dynasty. It has a long history and can be traced back to the Yuan Dynasty. It is located in Fushou Mountain District, 10 kilometers northwest of Daxigou Township, Huocheng County, Yili, Xinjiang. The locals call it the "Han Temple". It is surrounded by undulating mountains, shrouded in clouds and mist, and lush forests. At that time, the famous Taoist Changchun master Qiu Chuji accompanied Genghis Khan on his western expedition and passed through Alimari City in Ili. The Taoist disciples of Fushou Mountain invited him to preach. In 1763, the Qing government funded and spent five or six years building the Sanqing Temple, the Sanhuang Temple, the Jade Emperor Temple, etc. on the mountainside, with a total of 37 shrines and caves. Large and small temples are built on the mountain, and the temples are connected and surrounded by Fushou Mountain. Temple fairs are held every year, lasting for 17 days from the 20th day of the sixth lunar month to the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. During this period, there is an endless stream of people coming to offer incense and pray to the gods. In 1945, during the "Three Districts Revolution", all the temples in Fushoushan Temple were destroyed, leaving only two crescent-shaped natural ancient caves.

Daxigou Fushou Mountain is located in the north of the central part of Huocheng County. The trickles of Brokonu Mountain at the western end of the Tianshan Mountains merge into the Daxigou River. The main attractions in the scenic area include Fushoushan Temple, White Pagoda, natural stone Buddha, moon-shaped cave, cherry forest, etc.
