Scenic spot introduction:

Ranwu Lake, also known as "Amu Co Lake", is the largest lake in eastern Tibet. It is a high mountain barrier lake formed by landslides or mud-rock flows blocking the river. It is well known to many travelers who take the Sichuan-Tibet Highway because it is close to the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. It is located in Ranwu Township, the southwest corner of Basu County in Qamdo Prefecture, about 90 kilometers away from Baima Town, the county seat.

Attractions distribution:

Ranwu Lake has an area of 22 square kilometers and a lake surface elevation of 3,850 meters. Gangri Gabu Snow Mountain , with the Azagunla Glacier to the south and the beshula ra. The meltwater from the surrounding snow-capped mountains is the main source of water for Ranwu Lake, and the lake water flows westward to form an important tributary of the Yarlung Zangbo River - Parlung Tsangpo One of the sources.

Best time to visit:

Late autumn is the best time, when the lake is clear and blue, and the mountains around the lake are colorful;

It is much less beautiful in summer, the lake water is muddy and yellow, and the surrounding mountains are monotonous.
