Scenic spot introduction:
The Quanzhou Leigong Pagoda was built after the Miaoming Pagoda, which was first built in the first year of the Qianfu reign of the Tang Dynasty (874 AD), and the Zhenxiang Pagoda, which was rebuilt in the third year of the Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty (1798 AD). It was built based on the deep thinking of the sustainable protection of the original ecological culture and ecological culture. The newly built Leigong Pagoda is an imitation of the ancient Song Dynasty architecture, with a frame structure, seven floors and 36.9 meters high, with a total area of 856 square meters including the basement. The shape is an octagonal four-door four-window, and the decoration design is novel. There are four gates on the first floor, and there are two granite reliefs on both sides of each gate. Four of them are pictures of Leigong, Dianmu, Fengshen, and Yushen, symbolizing the "peace and prosperity of the country" and "good weather and good harvests" of thunder and lightning; the other four are pictures of dragons and phoenixes. The reliefs are majestic and lifelike. There are couplets engraved beside each gate and in the middle of the reliefs. For example, on the main gate there is "Standing majestically on the upper reaches, looking over the Baiyue, Wu and Chu, gazing at the sun shining on Jiuyi and Xiangjiang River." Each couplet tells the history and scenery of Quanzhou.Scenic spot features:
