Scenic spot introduction:

Nyainqentanglha Mountain is a famous guardian deity in Tibet and the main deity of the Pantheon of Mountains in the northern grasslands. Both Bon and Tibetan Buddhism believe that this mountain is a place of meditation and gathering for all the vidyadharas who have achieved enlightenment, and they hold it in high esteem.

Attractions distribution:

The Nyainqentanglha Mountains are located on the southern shore of Lake Namtso, running across central and eastern Tibet. They are 1,400 kilometers long and 80 kilometers wide on average. They are one of the main mountain ranges on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China. The main peak, Tanggula Peak, is 7,111 meters above sea level. It is covered with snow all year round, surrounded by clouds and mist, and thunder and lightning. It is mysterious and unpredictable, like a heroic god with a brocade head and armor on his body, standing high above the snow-capped mountains, grasslands and canyons.
In the ancient mythology of Tibet, in the pantheon of Bon or Tibetan Buddhism, in the folk songs and legends of local shepherds and hunters, Mount Nyainqentanglha and Namtso Lake are not only the most eye-catching sacred mountains and holy lakes in Tibet, but also lovers and couples who depend on each other for life and death. Mount Nyainqentanglha appears more handsome and tall against the backdrop of Namtso Lake, and Namtso Lake becomes more beautiful and moving because of the reflection of Mount Nyainqentanglha, attracting thousands of believers, pilgrims and tourists to come and visit and worship, making it the largest religious holy place and tourist attraction on the roof of the world.
