Scenic spot introduction:

Piazzale Michelangelo is one of the few areas where you can see all the great sights of Florence. The square is located at the end of Via Gauli in the south of the city, like a huge platform overlooking Florence.

Michelangelo Square and Avenue were designed and built in 1868 by architect Giuseppe Poggi. In the center of the square is Michelangelo's huge "David" (a replica), and on the hill is the famous Church of San Miniato If you come here at dusk, you can overlook the charming scenery of Florence, including the Arno River, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, and the bell tower.
