Scenic spot introduction:

Xiahe Sangke Grassland is the place where King Gesar worshipped the gods in legend. It is famous in the northwest Tibetan area for its excellent grassland and the grand Tibetan Buddhist activities held here in history. Sangke Grassland is located 1 km southwest of Xiahe County. It is a meadow grassland with an average altitude of more than 3,000 meters and a grassland area of 70 square kilometers. The terrain is gently undulating, vast and boundless, with abundant water and grass. Fat cattle and sheep , is the main livestock product base in Gannan Prefecture.

Sangke Grassland is called "Dajiutan" in Tibetan, which means horse racing beach. It is surrounded by mountains. Daxia River The water flows slowly from south to north, and the grass here is lush and green. How to get there:

After visiting Labrang Monastery, you can take a 15-minute bus ride to the grassland; you can also rent a bicycle from Xiahe to Sangke Grassland for 10 yuan a day; it costs 19.8 yuan to take a bus from Lanzhou to Xiahe, and then take a tricycle to Sangke Grassland for 12 yuan per tricycle.
