Dayaotan Huashan Scenic Area, the hometown of Miyilu and the birthplace of Yi opera, is a unique scenic spot where beautiful natural landscape and folk art complement each other. Tanhua Mountain is a collection of majestic, dangerous, strange and beautiful lofty mountains and valley landforms, accompanied by ancient trees and famous flowers, flying springs and strange rocks, stacked waterfalls, and other historical sites of the ancestors of the Yi people. They are of extremely high value and significance. In the spring of March, the cherry blossom trees all over the mountain are ablaze with red, and the flowers bloom like a sea. Tanhua Mountain is located in the northern area of ​​Chuxiong, 48 kilometers away from Dayao County. The total area of ​​the scenic spot is about 110 square kilometers, consisting of four areas: Epiphyllum Mountain, Baicaoling, Miaofeng Mountain, Santan Waterfall and Baita Park.
