Scenic spot introduction:

Luoyuan Shuilu Temple was built by monk Zhengyou in the fourth year of Zhou Xiande in the Five Dynasties (AD 957). After the eighth year of Qingli in the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 1048), the county seat was moved from the north of the temple to the current site of Beimen, and the old site of the county seat was expanded into a temple. In the 31st year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1398 AD), it was converted into a mansion; in the third year of Chenghua (1467 AD), monk Yuanliang raised money to build a Buddhist temple and Dharma hall, which were later destroyed; in the 17th year of Hongzhi (1504 AD), the seal-protecting monk Ming Yin raised money to build three back halls, but they were destroyed; they were rebuilt in the 13th year of Jiajing (1534 AD); and the back hall was renamed Wenchang Temple in the 18th year of Wanli (1590 AD). During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty (1662-1722 AD), the temple was renamed "Yongzhen Yixue". In the 25th year of Qianlong's reign (1760 AD), it was renamed "Luochuan Academy". The temple gate was moved to the east, leaving the apse as a temple. . In the seventh year of Daoguang reign (1827 AD), monk Kunyu raised funds to rebuild the temple.
